  • Patent number: 8106571
Abstract: A capped lamp/reflector unit (1) comprising a lamp vessel (2) arranged inside a reflector (3) and a lamp cap (4) fixed to the reflector. Electrical contacts (17) are provided substantially opposite to each other on an outer surface (24) of the lamp cap. The lamp cap comprises a first (25) and a second mating and engaging part (26), preferably identical to each other. The mating parts, when assembled, cannot move relative to each other and preferably are held together by the electrical contacts (17), which for this purpose are formed as spring clamps (39). The reflector is provided with a metal sheet cladding (22) on an outer surface (23) of the reflector. Furthermore, a transparent plate (34) is provided to close the light emission window (21) of the reflector. Thus, an easily replaceable, simple and safe capped lamp/reflector unit is obtained.

  • Publication number: 20100232163
Abstract: A lighting device (1) comprising a lamp (10) for emitting light and a concave reflector (20) accommodating said lamp. The reflector has a neck part (21), a reflective part (22) and a light emission window (23). The reflective part has an outer surface (24). A transversal, transparent front plate (25) is provided at the side of the light emission window. A metal housing (30) having a wall (31) is provided around said reflector. At least 50%, preferably at least 70%, of the outer surface of the reflective part is clad by the wall of the metal housing. The transparent front plate may be arranged in an extension part (35) of the housing and can be tilted with respect to the light emission window axis at an angle ? in the range of 2° to 25°, preferably in the range of 4° to 10°.

  • Patent number: 7768568
Abstract: An imaging module (1) comprises an upper portion (20, 60, 70, 80) and an under portion (10, 30, 40, 50), which are movable with respect to each other. The under portion (10, 30, 40, 50) holds an image sensor chip (10) and has a toothed recess (52) comprising alternating short slots (53) and long slots (54). The upper portion (20, 60, 70, 80) holds a lens (20) and has a rotatably arranged rotor (80). Protrusions (82) of the rotor (80) are positioned in the recess (52) of the under portion (10, 30, 40, 50), wherein the upper portion is pressed upwards under the influence of a spring (90). Every time the upper portion (20, 60, 70, 80) is pressed towards the under portion (10, 30, 40, 50) and subsequently released, the protrusions (82) of the rotor (80) are received by another slot (53, 54). In this way, the distance between the lens (20) and the image sensor chip (10) can be varied.

  • Patent number: 7480107
Abstract: An imaging module (1) comprises a lens holder (50) for holding a lens, and a foot (30) for holding an image sensor chip. Both the foot (30) and the lens holder (50) are provided with a flange (35, 52) having inclined contact surfaces (36, 53). In an assembled state, the lens holder (50) is snap-fitted over the foot (30). The lens holder (50) comprises slots (56), whereas the foot (30) comprises ribs (37). When the ribs (37) are received by the slots (56), rotation of the lens holder (50) with respect to the foot (30) is prohibited, whereas movement of the lens holder (50) with respect to the foot (30) in an axial direction is allowed. In this way, a maximum axial distance between the lens holder (50) and the foot (30) is determined, which may be set to be the focal distance of the lens.

  • Patent number: 4040706
Abstract: A contact strip comprising a support of synthetic material having a flat surface whereon linearly extending metal contact members are mounted by means of connection tags. These contact members are formed at one end as a pin contact or a socket contact and are provided at the other end with an insulated connection wire. The end of this wire has its insulation removed and is connected to the contact member. In order to avoid the necessity of a second connection between the contact member and the insulated portion of the wire, the contact member includes a U-shaped extension which partly encloses this insulated portion and presses this portion against the support.
