  • Publication number: 20250255675
Abstract: Extended reality systems and methods for use in a surgical procedure involve a head-mounted device (HMD) comprising an HMD display positionable in front of a user's eyes and a sensing system to sense control inputs of the user. Controller(s) coupled to the HMD receive control inputs from the sensing system to establish a pose of a view coordinate system in which to present a virtual object (e.g., a virtual information panel) related to the surgical procedure. The pose can be established using a virtual alignment guide. The controller(s) define the view coordinate system relative to a world coordinate system after the pose of the view coordinate system is established. The controller(s) recognize surgical information, and in response, automatically present the virtual object on the HMD display combined with a real-world view and at a predetermined position and orientation within the view coordinate system.

  • Publication number: 20230419481
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of capturing an image of diagnostic test results. The method may include acquiring an image of a diagnostic test positioning card using an image capture device, determining the presence of a plurality of fiducial images on the test positioning card, determining the presence of a diagnostic test result carrier placed on the test positioning card and verifying positioning of the test result carrier on the test positioning card. An image of the test result carrier may then be captured. The method may also include acquiring an image of a test result carrier using an image capture device, determining image features in the image of the test result carrier and verifying positioning of the test result carrier relative to the image capture device using the image features. An image including the test result carrier may then be captured.

  • Publication number: 20230238125
Abstract: A machine causes capture of an image that depicts an optically readable code exhibited by a measurement device that corresponds to a scheduled medical procedure. The machine then determines, based on the optically readable code depicted by the captured image, a hardware identifier of a network interface of the measurement device and a location identifier of the measurement device. The machine next identifies the medical procedure based on the location identifier determined based on the optically readable code exhibited by the measurement device. The machine establishes a network connection with the measurement device based on the determined hardware identifier of the network interface of the measurement device. The established network connection may provide access to measurement data generated by the measurement device that corresponds to the scheduled medical procedure identified based on the location identifier of the measurement device.

  • Publication number: 20230112547
Abstract: One or more devices may be configured to provide or otherwise facilitate contactless healthcare screening. A mobile app may be installed on a device of a patient, and the mobile app may cause the device to guide the patient through a healthcare screening, for example, including administration of a healthcare screening questionnaire, without risk of making physical contact with the healthcare worker. The same mobile app or another mobile app may be installed on a device of a healthcare worker, and the mobile app may cause the device to guide the healthcare worker in administering the healthcare screening to the patient, also without risk of making physical contact with the patient.
