  • Patent number: 11302201
Abstract: An example method for data parameter reasonability analysis includes receiving a source data file including a plurality of data frames having formats that are unknown, and a data frame includes a data word layout having data words concatenated together and the data words are representative of outputs from a plurality of sensors, comparing the sensor data to compatible parameter values for a type of sensor mapped to the location of the sensor data in the data word layout as for available data frame formats, generating a difference map illustrating one or more data words having sensor data incompatible with the type of sensor mapped to the location of the sensor data in the data word layout, assigning a data frame format to the plurality of data frames, determining reasonableness of the sensor data in the source data file, and providing a report as to reasonability of the sensor data.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 22, 2019
Date of Patent: April 12, 2022
    Assignee: The Boeing Company
Inventors: Christopher Michael Mutschler, Raymond Willis, Susan Jacintho, Feibi Mao, Brian Predmore, John Vandervort, Leslie Ytsma, Thanh D. Hoang

  • Patent number: 8548879
Abstract: A material management system includes integrated modules that cooperate to electronically manage a pooled inventory of material held at differing locations and used in the maintenance of multiple fleets of aircraft. The system includes a material request module for processing requests for material and for determining whether the requested material is present at one of the locations. A material transfer module responds to material requests by transferring parts between the differing locations. A material receiving and inspection module controls receiving and inspection of the material. A material shipment module manages the shipment of the material from a supplier in response to a material request.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 14, 2007
Date of Patent: October 1, 2013
    Assignee: The Boeing Company
Inventors: James R. Shiner, John W. Curphey, Thanh D. Hoang, Christian K. Fischer
  • Patent number: 8231062
Abstract: A formable RFID tag includes a tag inlay including a composite polymer material having a pliant and flexible pre-cured state and a hardened cured state, non-rigid RFID circuitry embedded in the tag inlay and a non-rigid RFID antenna embedded in the tag inlay and interfacing with the RFID circuitry.
    Type: Grant
