  • Publication number: 20240013908
Abstract: A method of testing a saliva sample includes: providing a testing device having a color palette and multiple test areas, using colorimetric analysis and lateral flow assay tests; collecting at least a prescribed volume of a saliva sample; dispensing, onto each of multiple test areas of a testing device, a respective portion of the collected saliva sample, the testing device thereby developing a respective discernible reaction at each test area; capturing, by a computing device, an image of testing device; analyzing, through a testing platform, the image by colorimetric and liquid flow assay analysis; and displaying results of the colorimetric analysis, the displayed results representing oral health parameters. The displayed results including quantitative indices and trend identifiers related to oral health parameters. A kit for use in conducting the above method includes the sample reactive device.

  • Publication number: 20220273272
Abstract: A stabilized saliva testing system and method facilitates obtaining and preparing a stabilized saliva test sample for subsequent analysis. The system preferably includes a kit having various collection and preparation implements, 1× TE pH 8.0 as the stabilizer, a means for mailing the sample, and instructions for use. A user obtains a saliva sample, prepares the stabilized saliva test sample as instructed, and mails the sample to a 3rd party for analysis. The 3rd party tests the sample for tooth and gum health indicators using known testing instrumentation, and sends the user a report summarizing their tooth and gum health.

  • Patent number: 7656818
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing customizable network device management are disclosed. In one such method, a user-created policy is received and registered on a network device, such as a router. An event identified by the policy is detected at the network device. In response, the policy runs on the network device and an action specified by the policy is performed. The policy can be prepared by a user of a remote computing device, uploaded to the network device, and registered on the network device. In various implementations, the policy can be provided in the form of a script or applet executable by the network device.

  • Patent number: 6141737
Abstract: A method for dynamically caching data objects in a logical cache memory begins by organizing the logical cache memory into a set of maximally equally-sized, contiguous pages that begin at a logical cache base address. Any one of the maximal size logical cache pages may be dynamically subdivided into a set of smaller pages of equal size. The smaller size pages cache data objects having a smaller size than the maximum possible data object size. Each subdivided page stores only those smaller size data objects. The logical address for a page is mapped to at least a maximal size page index identifying the position of the maximal size logical page in the cache and, if the page is a smaller size page, the page location is also mapped to a smaller size page index which identifies a particular one of the smaller size pages located within a maximal size page. Pages are dynamically reconfigured based on a least-recently-used policy.
