  • Publication number: 20240250490
Abstract: Years of experimentation, testing, and refinement have resulted in designs for lasers that can produce laser beams that have a 2.94 ?m wavelength and a previously unachievable output power of at least 220 W. Specific designs for such high power 2.94 ?m lasers are presented herein such that those practiced in the art may achieve similar results without undue experimentation. Such a laser can include a laser rod and at least one laser pump source. The laser pump source is configured to pump energy into the laser rod to thereby cause the laser to produce a laser beam that has a wavelength of 2.94 ?m. The laser beam has a maximum average power of at least 220 W. The laser beam includes a plurality of pulses that each have an energy of at least 1.5 J at 0.5 ms at 150 Hz.

  • Patent number: 12032680
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables an auxiliary device to run a service that can access and analyze data of a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). The auxiliary device may establish an auxiliary TEE in the auxiliary device and establish a trusted communication link between the auxiliary TEE and the TEE (i.e., primary TEE). The primary TEE may execute a target program using the primary devices of a host device (e.g., CPU) and the auxiliary TEE may execute a security program using the auxiliary device (e.g., DPU). In one example, the primary and auxiliary TEEs may be established for a cloud consumer and the auxiliary TEE may execute a security service that can monitor data of the primary TEE even though the data is inaccessible to all other software executing external to the primary TEE (e.g., inaccessible to host operating system and hypervisor).

  • Patent number: 11968298
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for secure computation and/or communication. Entangled photons (118) are generated such that each participating party receives a series of optical pulses. Each party has private information (110, 112) which are never transmitted through public or private communication channels. Instead, each party converts their respective private information (110, 112) into measurement bases via an encryption process (114, 116) which are then applied to the entangled photons (118). After the measurement process, e.g., quantum frequency conversion (122, 124), reference indices are announced (124, 126) so that computation can be performed (128) without revealing the private information directly or indirectly.
