Abstract: A system and methods for supporting minimally invasive surgery, involving a control module configurable to: receive an initial MRI image from an MRI imaging device; transmit the initial MRI image to a planning module configured to determine a surgical plan; receive the surgical plan from the planning module; transmit the surgical plan to a guidance module configured to operate with a medical instrument and the MRI imaging device, the medical instrument configured to couple with an MRI micro-coil, and the MRI imaging device configured to operate with the MRI micro-coil; and receive, in real-time, a subsequent MRI image from the MRI imaging device operating with the MRI micro-coil during guidance of the medical instrument.

Abstract: System and method for adjusting side mirrors capture, by a primary camera, a facial image of a driver; estimate a 3D eye location with respect to a 3D coordinate of the primary camera based on the captured facial image; map the estimated 3D eye location to a respective set of pitch and yaw of the side mirror based on a look up table; and rotate the side mirror to a target position in accordance with the respective set of pitch and yaw. The lookup table includes a plurality of rows, each containing a pair of a key and a set of values. The key is a set of three parameters of 3D line of locations where the driver can observe an optimal view behind the vehicle, and the set of values includes a set of pitch and yaw of the side mirror corresponding to the 3D line of locations.

Abstract: A method for adjusting a side mirror of a vehicle includes capturing, by a primary camera provided in front of a driver of the vehicle, a facial image of the driver; estimating a 3D eye location with respect to a 3D coordinate of the primary camera based on the captured facial image; mapping the estimated 3D eye location to a respective set of pitch and yaw angles of the side mirror based on a lookup table; and rotating the side mirror to a target position in accordance with the respective set of pitch and yaw angles. The lookup table includes a plurality of rows, each row containing a pair of a key and a set of values. The key is a 3D eye location, and the set of values includes a set of pitch and yaw angles of the side mirror corresponding to the 3D eye location.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the formation of a gel within a medium M, in particular within an underground formation, which comprises the following steps: (EI) a basic compound C is added to a fluid latex L comprising dispersed particles of a polymer P, bearing ester side functions, said basic compound C being added in an amount suitable for hydrolysing at least one part of said ester side functions into carboxylic acid and/or alcohol functions, as a result of which a modified latex L? is obtained, the viscosity of which gradually increases with time from the addition of the compound C up to the formation of a gel; then (E2) the resulting modified latex is introduced into the medium M before the formation of the gel and the gel is left to form within the medium M.

In response to the ambiguous selection, a short menu corresponding to the displayed page is displayed on the screen. Various short menus are provided with their respective menu items being dependent and adjustable based upon the position of a cursor on the displayed page, the currently opened application, and/or the previous selections. Further, a selection from the short menu is capable of displaying the extended menu corresponding thereto.
