Abstract: A mobile mechanic system can include a network communicably coupling a user device and at least one mechanic device. The user can transmit a request for a mechanic including details of the request. One or more mechanics can view the request and submit a cost corresponding to completing the project in the form of a bid, thereby creating the opportunity for multiple mechanics to place competitive bids. The user can view the bids and the associated mechanic profile and select a mechanic with whom the user would like to work.
