  • Publication number: 20200387269
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system that enables a user to efficiently view messages of a conversation that are more relevant to the user. The system is configured to display content of a first application within an application user interface (UI) and to determine that a message of a second application being monitored includes a trigger feature that comprises a piece of information or an interaction from another user that is worthy of the user's attention. The system can then generate a visual notification for the trigger feature. The visual notification can be displayed in association with a graphical element of the application UI. Upon receiving an indication of a selection of the visual notification, the system can switch from displaying the content of the first application to displaying the message of the second application and trigger feature and/or change visual characteristics associated with the message to bring focus to the message.

Conduit has an inner wall and a mouthpiece end for causing an inspiratory flow. Aerosol generator includes a vibratable mesh laterally offset from the inner wall. Fluid receiving chamber receives liquid medicament. At least a portion of chamber is tapered such that liquid medicament is directed onto vibratable mesh for aerosolization. Restrictor defines a plurality of apertures that provide increases in pressure differential that vary with inspiratory flow rate within conduit and provide relatively laminar flow downstream of restrictor. Indicator mechanism indicates a state of flow parameters relative to a predefined range. Aerosol generator is configured to aerosolize at least a portion of liquid medicament only when flow parameters of the inspiratory flow are within range.

  • Patent number: 10860387
Abstract: Dynamic distributed work allocation is disclosed. For example, a first work server (WS) stores a first plurality of tasks and a second WS stores a second plurality of tasks. A work client (WC) is configured to send a first lock request (LR) with a first priority value (PV) to the first WS and a second LR with a second PV to the second WS. The WC receives a first lock notice (LN) and a first task from the first WS, and a second LN and a second task from the second WS. Prior to a first lock duration (LD) expiring and completing processing of the first task, the WC sends a third LR to the first WS that extends the first LD. After completing the second task, the WC sends a lock release notice and a fourth LR to the second WS.

  • Patent number: 10859448
Abstract: A sensor system comprising a Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS)-based capacitive floating element shear stress sensor, the associated packaging, and the interface circuitry required for operation as an instrumentation-grade sensing system is disclosed herein. One implementation of the interface circuitry is an analog synchronous modulation/demodulation scheme enabling time-resolved measurements of both mean and dynamic wall shear stress events, where a modulation section couples to the sensor for sensing wall shear stress at the surface of an object in a fluid and generates at least one bias signal from the sensor output signal. In response to the bias signal, a demodulation control circuit adjusts the phase of the bias signal and generates a demodulation control signal from the phase adjusted signal. Consequently, in response to the demodulation control signal, a demodulation section synchronizes the rectification of the sensor output signal, while the phase information is maintained.

  • Publication number: 20200379025
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs stored on a computer-readable storage medium, for obtaining a reference phase signal that is synchronized with an alternating current (AC) phase of a multi-phase electrical power distribution system. The apparatus obtains output signals from sensors, each output signal representative of an electromagnetic emission detected by a respective sensor. The apparatus identifies, based on comparing respective phases of the output signals to the reference phase signal, a particular AC phase of the multi-phase electrical power distribution system associated with a source of the emissions. The apparatus provides an indication of the particular AC phase to a user.
