    Abstract: Apparatus and method for coloring or patterning Easter eggs in which a dish-shaped container having an inner surface that is non-absorbent of liquid dye is provided with inwardly-extending projections adapted to receive coloring dye. The egg to be patterned is coated with coloring material and, while the material remains wet, is rolled around the interior of the container by a swirling motion.
