  • Patent number: 10759551
Abstract: An ejection head for an ejection device of a sealing machine for sealing a container includes a supporting element with a supporting axis and a sliding end, and a sliding element for sliding the supporting element along a sliding profile of the sealing machine. The sliding element is arranged at the sliding end and a force acting essentially in the direction of the supporting axis is capable of being transmitted via the sliding element to the supporting element. So that the sliding element and the sliding profile are subject to reduced wear, the sliding element is a rotatable rolling element, so that in the operating state the supporting element is capable of being unrolled over the rotatable rolling element along the sliding profile.

  • Patent number: 5492153
Abstract: A weft yarn presentation apparatus has a weft sequence control having weft thread presenting devices (1), a controlled thread clamping device (2) with several clamps (3a-3f) and a guide member (4) with a slit (5). The association of the weft thread presenting devices (1) with the clamps (3a-3f) guarantees that there is no cross-over of the tracks of the weft threads, and the displacement of the clamps in the reference plane (6) does not influence these tracks. The weft thread is presented to the gripper in the reference plane (6), through matching of the movements of the clamp and of the associated weft thread presenting device (1) so that contact between the weft threads is prevented.

  • Patent number: 5241994
Abstract: A rapier loom has a picking mechanism in which one rapier (a giver rapier) transfers a weft yarn to another rapier (a taker rapier) in mid-shed. Each rapier is oscillated toward and away from one another by a drive and includes a yarn clamp which is actuated by a clamp opener to provide reliable yarn transfer from one rapier to the other. The rapier drives and/or clamp openers are driven by programmed servomotors. In this way, the velocities of the rapiers and/or the interval in which the clamp openers are opened can be adjusted according to the properties of the particular weft yarns used to ensure reliable transfer without damaging the yarn.

  • Patent number: 5058628
Abstract: To operate the terry loom, one or more pile-forming elements is actuated by separate drives on an individual pick basis and in a freely triggerable manner and at a loom speed. Any desired terry cadence can be produced in any desired sequence without stopping the loom and changing mechanical control and actuating means. Pile height can also be varied as required. The terry loom has at least one servomotor as a separate drive. The servomotor, which is triggered by means of a control and adjustment circuit arrangement, drives the pile-forming element by way of a reduction transmission and transmission elements. The servomotor can be preferably brushless and electronically commutated and have a low mass inertia rotor and high-field strength permanent magnets.

  • Patent number: 4690176
Abstract: In a back rest arrangement on a weaving machine the back rest is preferably carried at each of its ends by one arm of a two-armed support frame or yoke which is pivotable about a stationary pivot axis on a machine frame. At least one of the arms of the support frame or yoke possesses a resilient portion or shank. A free end of the resilient shank is supported in a manner which is relatively rigid in relation to a pivoting motion of the support frame or yoke caused by the varying warp force acting on the back rest. The resilient shank is in operative association with a sensing probe for generating an electrical signal which is proportional to the deflection of the resilient shank. These measures render the arrangement suitable both for a so-called rigid or fixed back rest support as well as for a back rest support utilizing a rocking lever or rocker beam.

  • Patent number: 4607666
Abstract: The apparatus for controlling the warp thread tension by positional displacement of a back rest on a loom includes a swivelling lever mechanism with a rocking lever which carries the shaft of the back rest and which rocking lever is controlled by a cam plate or disc. The apparatus also includes additional members effecting an additional warp thread tensioning by an additional positional displacement of the back rest during the start-up operation of the loom. The swivelling lever mechanism further includes a connecting element which serves for altering the relative distance between the cam plate or disc and the rocking lever carrying the shaft of the back rest. The relative length of the connecting element is variable by a temporarily operative actuating device. These measures permit a very simple and functionally reliable concept of the additional members of the apparatus.
