  • Patent number: 6289619
Abstract: The breech lock unit has a housing in which a strike hammer is mounted so that it can be pivoted around a shaft. A drive lever can be pivoted on the same shaft to a limited extent in both directions with respect to the hammer. The hammer is biased by a spring against the one stop with the lever. Connected to the lever is a connecting rod which is biased by a striker spring and in the base position is in contact with a stop surface on the housing. The configuration described above makes possible a slim construction and optimum drive conditions. A plurality of functions that conventionally require separately installed components can be realized in the one breech lock unit.

  • Patent number: 6112446
Abstract: A weapon grip includes a grip body and a cross-sectionally generally U-shaped grip shell, each having opposite side walls and a rear wall interconnecting the side walls. The grip shell which is a one-piece component, is readily removably and replaceably inserted on the grip body in an installed position such that the walls of the grip body face the respective walls of the grip shell. The grip body and the shell body carry respective first and second abutment faces extending parallel to the length dimension of the grip body. The first and second abutment faces are in contact with one another in the installed position.

  • Patent number: 5136924
Abstract: A silencer for use with pistols with a fixed or tilting barrel. The design configuration is such that the sighting line is retained when the silencer is fitted. Handleability of the weapon is not seriously adversely affected by the design configuration and the lightweight structure.

  • Patent number: 4011678
Abstract: A safety mechanism to prevent the accidental discharge of a firearm such as an automatic pistol when the firearm impacts on a hard surface utilizes a second spring loaded slide bolt as an impact safety in addition to a conventional, trigger-activated spring biased slide bolt. The second safety bolt and its bias spring are structured and located so that an impact which causes the trigger-activated safety bolt to move out of its normal "safety-on" position also causes the second slide to move against its bias spring to engage a recess on a firing pin and thereby prevent the weapon from firing. Also, when the firing pin is located in a slide of an automatic pistol, the slide, firing pin and hammer are structured so that a movement of the slide on impact towards the hammer causes the rear edge of the slide to strike the hammer with the firing pin spaced from the hammer.
