  • Patent number: 10216287
Abstract: A one-handed typing system for eyes-free operation of a computerized device having an audio port. A numerical key unit accepts and communicates keystrokes by a user. The key unit has keys including no alphabetic keys, nine number keys that produce numeric keystrokes, and at least one command key that produce a command keystroke. An audio unit receives audio information from the audio port and provides it to the user as sounds. A software program runs in the computerized device. It receives the command keystroke and commands operation of software program, receives and translates the numerical keystrokes into corresponding letter keystrokes, provides the audio information to the user based on the command and letter keystrokes received, and stores the letter keystrokes in a file in the computerized device.

  • Publication number: 20180067907
Abstract: A method for document management by a user of a computerized system including a display screen. A document is provided that appears as plain text on the display screen. Within the document is a connection wherein, when non-activated, the connection appears as the plain text on the display screen. And the connection, when activated by the user of the computerized system, the connection is thereby activated and connection then appears on the display screen as the plain text along with an open visible bridge that connects to an open other content.

  • Patent number: 9808082
Abstract: A desk (10, 10a, 10b) having a top section (14) including a central hole (12) wherein a user of the desk may sit and a gap (26) where they may enter. The top section has multiple sub-sections (20a-c) that assemble so the top section is substantially round and forms a top side whereupon objects may be placed on the desk. A central section (16) includes multiple uprights (30, 54) each having one or more wheels (46, 58) upon which the top section rotatably rests when the desk is assembled.

  • Patent number: 8682884
Abstract: A system for working with data in datasets or information structures, wherein at least some of the data has latent preferences for connection with the data in other datasets or information structures. The data for each of the datasets or information structures is stored into a slice of separable cells having actual connections forming independent relational orderings in one or more dimensions. The cells in each slice are then examined for the latent preferences and the cells having data seeking connection is identified as choosing cells and the cells sought to be connected to are identified as target cells. A latent connection is then added to either the choosing cell or the target cell for each of the latent preferences, thus preparing the slices for potential expression into one or more conglomerate structures.

  • Publication number: 20120137202
Abstract: A system to explore connections between a current and other pages by stepping through and seeing connections by successive juxtaposition. Content links each represent a connection between a first and second pages, where such content links each include at least one departure point in the first page and arrival point in the second page. A current content link exists between a current (first) page and a companion (second) page. At least part of the current page including the current content link's departure point and at least part of the companion page including the current content link's arrival point, are shown spatially isolated in a display visually emphasizing the current content link.

  • Patent number: 6262736
Abstract: The present invention is a hyperspace (10) constructed of cells (12) having paired connectors (14) that define dimensions (16). Complex tissues (78) of the cells (12) in linear and cyclical ranks (32) can be navigated and manipulated by use of a stepper (84) and various view rasters (92). The types of cells (12) may include text cells (174), audio cells (172), video cells, and executable cells (118). By the use of clone cells (68) and a clone dimension (74), the cells (12) may be duplicated or referenced by transclusion.

  • Patent number: 6058381
Abstract: A payment method (100) suitable for network (10) transactions in merchandise (12) between purchasers (14) and vendors (18), employing the services of guarantors (16) which issue vouchers (20) for payment. The vendors (18) offer the merchandise (12) on the network (10) as URLs (50), which optionally may include a URL address (52) separated from a URL request (56). The URL (50) or the URL address (52) initially includes the network (10) address of the guarantor (16), and the URL (50) or the URL request (56) specifies particular merchandise (12). By selecting the URL (50) the purchaser (14) is initially taken to the guarantor (16), where the voucher (20) is placed into the URL (50) or the URL request (56) and the network (10) address of the vendor (18) is placed into the URL (50) or the URL address (52).
