Abstract: An anti-theft device for a car radio having a theft module, which renders the car radio inoperative when the radio is slid out of its installation recess in the vehicle, is provided by a joint housing for a power supply and anti-theft protection plug connection elements, as well as for a change-over switch controlling the theft module. The housing is fastened via the plug connection elements at the rear wall of the car radio such that the change-over switch is inevitably actuated by the frame of the installation recess during the sliding-out of the radio.

Abstract: In a vacuum distributor box with a suction connection and several vacuum connections, all the vacuum connections are equipped with non-return valves open only when vacuum lines are inserted, both the seals of the box housing itself and the those of the vacuum lines relative to the box housing and the valve sealing seats of the non-return valves being incorporated in a diaphragm seal clamped on all sides between two housing parts.

Abstract: A motor vehicle seat which includes a seat retention device. The seat retention device is constructed such that, in the event of a lateral impact, the seat is permitted to move laterally with respect to a seat runner toward an interior of the vehicle in a direction of action of the lateral impact. Devices are provided which act upon the seat in reaction to the lateral motion thereof.

Abstract: A cylinder lock which includes plate tumblers in a lock cylinder and a locking channel arranged in a lock casing wherein, when the key is pulled out (locked position of the lock), spring-loaded plate tumblers engage with their locking ends into the locking channel up to an extension length determined by locking stops. The lock casing is provided with an escape channel diametrically opposed to the locking channel for enabling a free resetting motion of the plate tumblers with their counter ends during an insertion of the key. The plate tumblers have, in their key cutouts, tumbler edges arranged at levels corresponding with an associated key cutout depth and, with a key being inserted (free position of the lock), can be reset into the lock cylinder. Stops are provided for limiting the resetting motion of the individual plate tumblers in the escape channel at insertion depths and a varying arrangement of the blocking stops is made in dependence upon a height of the respective tumbler edge.

Abstract: A rotary cylinder lock with a lock cylinder rotatable in a casing, preferably a door handle housing of a motor vehicle, with the lock cylinder being pivotable into closed and open positions by at least one key associated therewith and insertable in the lock cylinder. The rotary cylinder lock is constructed such that a second key can be inserted into the lock cylinder with the second key having, at a location other than in cases of the main key, notches or projections or the like controlling additional locking members. The second key actuates, by pivoting, a switching unit which, if necessary, triggers a safety device so as to prevent unauthorized use of the motor vehicle.

Abstract: A pneumatic actuating arrangement for to and fro movements, especially of a central locking system for motor vehicles, with an excess pressure source and with a vacuum source and with at least one pneumatic working device whose working chamber is adapted to be selectively connected to the excess pressure source or to the vacuum source by way of a shifting valve shiftable between two end positions. An intermediate for the shifting valve is provided in which position the shifting valve becomes temporarily effective during the transition from the one end position into the other end position so that the working chamber is conected to the atmosphere.

Abstract: An air-conditioned passenger motor vehicle preferably with a partition wall between the front part of the passenger cell and the rear space; a separate air-conditioning installation is provided for each part of the passenger cell which consists of a blower, of an air filter, of a cooling-medium evaporator and of actuating means for the separate air-conditioning installation.

Abstract: A pneumatic system for a central locking installation of motor vehicles with lines that conduct pressures to pneumatic elements, of which one each is coordinated to the parts to be locked, such as doors, tank lid, rear lid and/or front hood and the like, whereby key actuation of the locking mechanism at a vehicle door opens, respectively, closes the associated part(s); the pneumatic elements are constructed as single-chamber elements, to which excess pressure and vacuum are alternately fed through the same line; the excess pressure and vacuum are produced by a pump driven by an electric motor that is set into operation by a pulse transmitter engaged during the actuation of the locking mechanism of the driver door, and that is again automatically turned off after the termination of the opening or locking operation.

Abstract: A vehicle with operationally conditioned vacuum loads and comfort vacuum loads, in which a central distributor box is provided that is equipped with a feed connection to connect a distributor chamber with a vacuum source; at least two load chambers are also provided in the distributor box, whereby each load chamber is connected with the distributor chamber by way of a protective valve opening in the direction to the distributor chamber against a spring force, and with a load connection which is in communication with a test connection that opens into the atmosphere after overcoming a spring-loaded valve.

Abstract: An installation for accommodating a storage battery in a closed-off space, such as a passenger or luggage space of a motor vehicle, which includes a covering hood that holds back gases and acids escaping from the battery cells; the covering hood thereby forms the cover of a trough surrounding the storage battery and abuts sealingly at the top side of the trough so that a container is created which is gas-tight with respect to the interior of the vehicle; the connecting cables for the battery are led out of the container in a sealed manner while a recess with a discharge opening is provided in the bottom of the container which is in communication with the free atmosphere.
