  • Patent number: 6687192
Abstract: The invention concerns the structure of a timepiece movement, more particularly the structure of the hour wheel (1), the inside of whose pipe (4) includes an annular bulge (6) co-operating with an annular groove (22) arranged on the outer wall of the pipe (21) of the cannon-pinion (7). Thus, the hour wheel is snap-fitted onto the movement, without it being necessary to provide an additional part for this purpose, and its toothed wheel (3) cannot therefore be released from the motion-work pinion (19) during transport of the movement.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 1, 2002
Date of Patent: February 3, 2004
    Assignee: Eta Sa Fabriques d'Ebauches
    Inventors: Marco Bettelini, Theodor Schoenenberger
  • Patent number: 6668456
Abstract: In order to manufacture the display element intended for a timepiece, a sheet of plastic material shaped in a tape (3) is provided. The sheet is then deformed using tools (4, 6) by thermoforming to give it a profile (10, 11, 13, B) corresponding to the outer contour (20) of said elements. Such an element can be a date disc or a dial.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 1, 2000
Date of Patent: December 30, 2003
    Assignee: Eta sa Fabriques d'Ebauches
    Inventors: Ernst Moser, Theodor Schoenenberger
