Abstract: 3-Cyano-4-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)pyrrole is suitable for controlling phytopathogenic microorganisms and is markedly superior in activity to preparation of a similar structure. Said compound may be employed for seed dressing, either along or in the form of compositions.

Abstract: A process for immunizing healthy plants against plant diseases which process comprises the dressing and/or coating of seeds or the treatment of plants and/or their environment by using active ingredients of the formula ##STR1## in which Hal is halogen,X is oxygen or sulfur, andR is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl which interrupted by an oxygen or sulfur atom, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl which is substituted by halogen, cyano or the COO--C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl radical, C.sub.3 -C.sub.5 -alkenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, C.sub.3 -C.sub.5 -alkynyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -cycloalkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen or methyl, or a normal equivalent of a cation which is formed from a base or a basic compound.

Abstract: The invention relates to plant protection compositions based on a two-component system of plant fungicides, one of which is 1-[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)pentyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazole and the other is an N-haloalkanesulfenylphthalimide derivative.In the range from 1:3 to 1:100 the disclosed mixtures display enhanced fungicidal activities.

Abstract: The invention relates to plant protection compositions based on a two-component system of plant fungicides, one of which is 1-[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)pentyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazole and the other is Mancozeb, which is an [ethylenebis(dithiocarbamato)]manganese complex with [ethylene-bis(dithiocarbamato)]zinc of the formula II ##STR1## In the range from 1:3 to 1:100 the disclosed mixtures display enhanced fungicidal activities.

Abstract: A microbicidal composition comprising at least one microbicidal acylaniline derivative such as metalaxyl, furalaxyl and the like, and H.sub.3 PO.sub.3 or a salt thereof, exerts a synergistically potentiated activity against plant diseases, especially also against acylaniline-resistant pathogens. The composition may optionally comprise a third protective fungicidal component. The three active components may be applied in succession in any order or simultaneously.
