  • Publication number: 20240151334
Abstract: Disclosed is a sealing arrangement (10) for producing a sealing function in an, in particular static, pipe connection, in particular between a fluid-carrying pipe (11) and a connection sleeve (12). The sealing arrangement (10) comprises a ring seal (20) arranged in a circumferential groove (121), a seal seat (30) and a clamping element (40) for clamping the ring seal (20). The sealing arrangement (10) has a pressure side. The seal seat (30) is arranged in the circumferential groove (121) on the pressure side and has overflow openings (31) so that the ring seal (20) is exposed to the pressure of the fluid on the pressure side. Additionally or alternatively the seal seat (30) is arranged in the circumferential groove (121) and is configured to be conically tapering in the direction of the pressure side so that by clamping the ring seal (20) this is compressed in a radial direction, wherein the circumferential groove (121) remains accessible on the pressure side.

  • Publication number: 20220227070
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a pipe joint applicator with a control device and a method for producing a joint between a first pipe element and a second pipe element. The pipe joint applicator with a control device thereby detects actual process parameters via means for actual value detecting. The pipe joint applicator with a control device and the method determines therefrom the target process parameters for process control means for controlling the process parameters to be delivered to a pipe joint to be made. The pipe joint applicator with a control device optionally compares at least one actual value of the process parameters to at least one target process parameter and, in the event of deviation from at least one tolerance value range, issues an alarm to the user and/or generates an error protocol.

  • Patent number: 10786108
Abstract: A method for preparing an infusion beverage is disclosed wherein a dried infusion substance is applied in an infusion container, the latter being present, in the first instance, in a collapsed state and being extendable into an expanded state, An infusion liquid is introduced into the infusion container, wherein the infusion container is expanded. The dried infusion substance in the infusion container is kept in contact with the infusion liquid, in order to form the infusion beverage, over a contact period. The infusion container is then returned to its collapsed state, at least in part, by compression and, in the process, at least some of the infusion beverage is expelled from the infusion container.

  • Patent number: 10119639
Abstract: A plug-type sleeve for fastening on an object which is, in particular, in the form of a rod, cable or pipe, and which includes an end which has an opening for receiving a section of the object and has a circumferential groove with annular seal which is composed of an elastomeric material arranged in it, it being possible for the plug-type sleeve to be placed against an outer surface of said section. The plug-type sleeve includes a substantially sleeve-like clamping element, which can be coupled to the annular seal in the longitudinal direction of the plug-type sleeve, for axial compression and resulting radial constriction of the annular seal, wherein the clamping element is formed and designed such that external application of a fluid pressure medium causes axial extension of the clamping element.

  • Patent number: 6092630
Abstract: An arresting brake device with triggering equipment for elevators provides different braking effect in upward and downward directions of travel. The device includes a tiltable rocker, as a barrier element, provided with an articulated two-point bearing in yielding joint pans. The rocker is operatively connected with a movable brake shoe and is, on actuation by triggering equipment, tilted by entraining members up to an abutment beyond or ahead of its dead center according to the direction of travel of an elevator car in upward or downward directions. By the tilting movement, one or the other yielding joint pan is pushed against a biased adjustable compression spring and the movable brake shoe and a fixed brake shoe are accordingly urged against a guide rail. The compression springs, which are arranged in a spring block, can each be biased separately in a variable manner by a respective setting screw.

  • Patent number: 5146955
Abstract: The filling thread distributor mechanism employs a stationary part having arcuate channels through which filling threads are continuously delivered. In addition, the mechanism has a rotatable part mounted on the weaving rotor which is provided with a plurality of circumferentially disposed transfer channels for sequential alignment with each connecting channel of the stationary part. Each transfer channel also communicates with a picking tube through which filling thread can be picked into a picking channels on the weaving rotor. A cutting mechanism is disposed between a picking tube and a picking channel in order to sever the filling thread and form a new tip for subsequent delivery to the next picking tube of the rotating part.
