  • Publication number: 20230419952
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a request to train a natural-language understanding (NLU) model for a new domain, accessing a context-free grammar associated with the new domain, wherein the context-free grammar defines production rules with respect to ontology tokens associated with the new domain and utterance tokens for generating natural-language strings in the new domain, generating utterance-frame pairs based on traversing a hierarchical grammar tree associated with the context-free grammar based on the production rules, wherein each utterance-frame pair comprises an utterance and a corresponding frame, wherein each frame comprises ontology tokens associated with the new domain and utterance tokens corresponding to one or more of the ontology tokens of the frame, and training the NLU model based on the utterance-frame pairs.

  • Patent number: 11688022
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a user input comprising a natural-language utterance by an assistant xbot from a client system associated with a user, determining a semantic representation of the user input based on a structural ontology defining a labeling syntax for parsing the natural-language utterance to semantic units comprising actions, objects, and attributes, wherein the semantic representation embeds at least one object within at least one action and declares at least one attribute of the embedded object to be acted upon, sending a request based on the semantic representation to an agent for executing a task corresponding to the user input, receiving results of the executed task mapped to a structure determined by the structural ontology from the agent, and sending from the assistant xbot to the client system instructions for presenting a response based on the results of the executed task.

  • Publication number: 20220002483
Abstract: There is described a method for the production of a functional polyester having functional group X. The method comprises the step of melt blending a composition comprising (i) a high number average molecular weight (Mn) polyester having a Mn of ?6,000 Da; and (ii) a functional compound comprising functional group Y which may be the same as functional group X or be different to functional group X but be operable to form functional group X in the functional polyester. The composition is melt blended such that the high Mn polyester and the functional compound react to produce the functional polyester. The high Mn polyester has a Mn that is higher than the Mn of the functional compound. The present invention extends to functional polyesters produced by the method; aqueous, solventborne and powder coating compositions containing the functional polyester, and articles coated with the said coating compositions.

  • Patent number: 6024417
Abstract: A filter is disposed in the interior cavity of each of the axle spindle sections of a non-drive axle for a heavy duty tractor-trailer, which utilizes internally vented wheel end assemblies. Each filter provides for sufficient air flow from the wheel end assembly cavity into the axle cavity to enable internal venting of any expanding gas from the wheel end assembly cavity into the axle cavity, thereby preventing excessive pressure build-up in the wheel end assembly and possible reduction of the life expectancy of the wheel end assembly main seal. Depending on the filter embodiment employed, the filter prevents or at least lessens the likelihood of migration of contaminates such as oxide scale from the axle cavity into the wheel end assembly cavity, thereby preventing or lessening the likelihood that such contaminates will cause premature wear of the wheel end assembly bearings or main seal.

  • Patent number: 4016543
Abstract: An address recall system coupled to a processor to permit operator examination of a predetermined number of executed system addresses. A processor system address is manually inserted to the recall system. When a system address being executed compares with the operator address setting, an address equality signal is generated. The recall system logic generates either a stop or interrupt state for the processor responsive to actuation of another manually operated input switch. Addresses being executed by the processor are stored in a push down memory stack within the recall system. When an address equality signal is generated, one or more of the consecutively executed addresses contained in the memory stack may be manually displayed in the reverse order of execution.
