    Abstract: The invention relates to pharmaccutical compositions of activated protein C with a chelating agent. Preferably, the formulation contains activated protein C, a chelating agent, a bulking agent, a buffer, and/or a salt with a reconstituted pH between about 5.5 5 and about 6.5. Alternatively, the chelating agent is added to the diluent used with the activated protein C pharmaceutical composition. The aPC pharmaceutical compositions, formulations, and uses of the invention have improved in-use stability.
