    Abstract: In a design methodology for an electronic device that accepts a removable accessory card, the electronic device is provided with an accessory card receptacle and a power connector. The power connector is positioned with respect to the accessory card receptacle such that an accessory card cannot be inserted into, or removed from, the accessory card receptacle while a power cord is connected to the power connector. An accessory card, and electronic devices that receive accessory cards, are also disclosed.
