  • Publication number: 20190179416
Abstract: A vehicle and method of operation includes a vehicle computing system having a hands free controller configured to respond to audio signals received from a voice processor, and to communicate an electronic sequence of words recognized from the signals. The controller and the voice processor also monitor for, detect, and receive an identified error in the recognized sequence of words. The hands free controller receives from the voice processor an audible correction to the identified error, and generates a corrected electronic sequence of the recognized words, according to the audible correction. The controller is further configured to generate a control command from the corrected sequence, which is communicated to a vehicle communication unit, to enable control of an internal and/or external system or device. The hands free controller, responsive to the corrected sequence, also stores a learned correction to an autocorrect repository that is used to generate correction recommendations.
