Abstract: A preferably hand-held unit for controlling computer-implemented electronic trading operations, and permitting users, through tactile and/or audio feedback, to maintain visual contact with one or more visual displays, such as computer screens having trading-related information, without the need for continuously interrupting trading operations by focusing on the control unit or separate visual display(s) showing quantity and price terms for a particular instrument being traded.
