  • Patent number: 6775508
Abstract: A roller cleaning apparatus for retrofit installation in a photocopier fuser assembly having a housing and a fuser roller mounted in the housing. The apparatus may comprise a mounting strip adapted to engage a surface within the housing, a pair of resilient brackets spaced apart on the mounting strip, and a cleaning roller. Each of the resilient brackets has a bearing portion, and the cleaning roller is disposed between the pair of resilient brackets. The cleaning roller has a pair of opposing ends, each rotationally mounted in one of the bearing portions. The resilient brackets are configured so as to bias the cleaning roller against the fuser roller when the mounting strip is engaged with the housing. Also, a method for installing a roller cleaning apparatus in a photocopier fuser assembly.

  • Patent number: 6672183
Abstract: A power tool in the nature of an impact tool in which a quick release mechanism for retention, and selective quick release of an accessory is provided. The quick release mechanism is actuated by a release pin disposed beneath the surface of the tool so as to be out of harms way, and actuation of the quick release mechanism is achieved by digital depression of the pin which in turn releases a latch engaging the accessory, permitting its removal from the tool.

  • Patent number: 5585777
Abstract: A transmitter coupled to a control loop which carries a loop current senses a process variable which is transmitted over the loop. Circuitry in the transmitter presents an effective capacitance C.sub.eff to the control loop. The transmitter includes an isolation network coupled between the circuitry and the control loop which prevents discharge of energy stored in capacitance C.sub.eff into the control loop.

  • Patent number: 5353200
Abstract: A transmitter comprises a housing, an electronics assembly, an inner cover, and an outer cover. The electronics assembly includes an actuatable switch and fits within an open-ended cavity in the housing. The inner cover is positionable over the open end to cover the electronics assembly and has a deflectable button portion which is alignable with the actuatable switch and accessable from the open end while the electronics assembly is energized. The inner cover is electrically conductive and has a sleeve which frictionally mates with electrically conductive walls of the housing to shield the electronics assembly from electromagnetic interference (EMI). The inner cover is preferably an insulating molded plastic part with a thin metallic coating.
