  • Patent number: 5146718
Abstract: A hinged support assembly for mounting a swinging and dumping type rain gutter beneath the eaves on the fascia boards. The support comprises a bracket component and a wraparound hanger component mounting the gutters between an operative position wherein they underlie the eaves and an inverted position wherein they discharge their contents and are subject to washing by means of a hose. The support assembly is applicable for use with all of the usual gutter arrangements.

  • Patent number: 5060732
Abstract: A ground raking attachment for bucket-equipped tractor includes a toothed, cylindrical rotor which works the soil and at the same time rakes the ground free of rocks, refuse, roots, sticks and other debris which is transferred to the tractor bucket by the action of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 4840392
Abstract: A trailer hitch guide provides a temporary, removable V-shaped fence partly embracing a hitch ball for guiding a trailer tongue into place to fit over the ball. The guide is provided as an attachment made up in part of a flat plate having a central opening for accommodating the hitch ball, and this opening is elongated fore and aft to enable selective positioning of the plate relative to the ball so as to assure a proper location of the other part, which is a hitch fence mountable on the plate. Attachment of the fence to the plate is effected by downwardly and rearwardly directed studs on the fence that removably fit openings in the plate, the shape of the studs counteracting the forward thrust of the trailer tongue during hitching and also enabling easy mounting and dismounting of the fence to and from the plate, which remains on the towing vehicle hitch structure as by welding or attaching bolts.

  • Patent number: 4514933
Abstract: A self-balanced surface-processing apparatus includes a tool support movable along a strip of airplane body or other work surface, in spaced relation thereto a pivot arm mounted on the tool support and mounting a sander, or other surface-processing tool on one end and a balancing counterweight on the other end. A biasing means engages the pivot arm and biases the surface-processing tool against the work surface at a preselected pressure. The apparatus is operable to traverse various irregular surfaces while maintaining constant contact pressure of the surface-processing tool.

  • Patent number: 4401699
Abstract: A surface processing apparatus and method for painting or otherwise treating variously contoured surfaces. A track includes an elongated pliant beam to which a bending apparatus is attached for the purpose of conforming it to the contour of the surface to be processed. A carriage is mounted on the track for movement along the length thereof and in turn mounts a surface processing tool. The tool is operable to process a strip of the surface adjacent the track. Means is provided for moving the track incrementally along the surface, processing strips sequentially until the entire surface has been processed.

  • Patent number: 4113023
Abstract: A ground-raking attachment adapts bucket-equipped tractors for raking a ground surface free of rocks, refuse, roots, sticks and other debris. The attachment includes a frame and means for pivotally mounting the frame on a tractor bucket. The frame mounts at least one pair of motor driven, rotatable shafts mounting a plurality of rake teeth arranged for raking debris from the ground and progressively advancing it into the bucket. A frame drive is connected to the bucket for angularly adjusting it to selected positions relative to the ground.
