    Abstract: A process of purifying air includes selecting a room vapor generator having a housing having a floor mounted therein for generating a stream of air therethrough and having at least one possibly charged probe positioned in the air stream for generating positive ions in the air stream and at least one negatively charged probe positioned in the air stream for generating negative ions in the air stream. The negatively charged probe is spaced from the positively charged probe in the air stream. A liquid storage container is located in the housing and has means for dispersing liquid in the container into the stream of air adding a liquid mixture containing nitrogen, free citrus extract and colloidal silver into the liquid storage container and vaporizing the liquid mixture in the air stream for dispersing the liquid mixture into the surrounding air along with positive and negative ions.

    Abstract: A vacuum molding process includes selecting a flexible polymer cover for covering a selected cement container and at least partially filling the container with a cement mixture. The polymer cover is removably attached to the partially filled cement container and a vacuum is applied to the cement mixture in the container. The process may also include connecting a vibrator to the container for simultaneously vibrating the container and the placing of a hollow mold core member having a plurality of apertures therein in the middle of the container for the gas bubbles to escape as a result of the vibration of the cement mixture in a vacuum.

The process of making an air freshener includes forming the salt material into a sculpted shape, selecting and coating the formed salt material with a coating material having bactericidal properties, mounting the coated salt material to a base having a heater therein, and heating the salt material to reduce airborne microbiological agents adjacent thereto and to freshen the air therearound.

    Abstract: A system for placing a vacuum on a container for a cement or molding mixture includes a container for holding the cement which has an opening for adding or removing cement. A flexible polymer film cover is sized to cover at least the open portion of the container and has a vacuum hose coupling attached thereto which connects to a vacuum hose connected to a vacuum pump for drawing a vacuum between the cover and the container. Attaching means, such as a clamping bracket, are provided for removably attaching the flexible polymer cover to the container. A vapor trap is attached in the vacuum line for capturing vapor removed by the vacuum applied to the container. A mold may have a hollow mold core member placed in the center of the mold which has a plurality of apertures therein and which has the uncured cement placed therearound for producing the vacuum in the center of the molded part during the curing of the concrete.

    Abstract: A wall building panel apparatus includes a plurality of elongated panel frame members attached together to form a panel framework and having at least one stud attached between two panel frame members and having a panel side covering at least one side of the framework. A waste recycle aggregate material in a portland cement panel layer is formed in the panel to provide a prefabricated panel using waste recycle materials. A plurality of aggregate material and cement panel layers may be formed using recycled materials including used fiberglass insulation, recycled polystyrene, rubber tires, and old carpet material. The waste materials are converted to an aggregate through chopping, shredding, or with a hammer mill. A wall building process includes selecting waste recycling materials, such as used fiberglass insulation, used rubber tires, waste polystyrene, or waste carpet materials and converting the selected waste recycling materials into an aggregate material by chopping, shredding, or with a hammer mill.

    Abstract: A prefabricated panel is made of a plurality of elongated metal frame members attached together to form a panel framework. At least one stud is attached between two of the panel frame members and has a pair of elongated stud members attached together at each end thereof with a molded polymer composite end member to form a thermal break therein. A metal reinforcing rod is attached to each molded composite end member and extends the length of the stud and may be attached through to the roof rafters or trusses. The prefabricated panel may be filled with insulation and have an expanded metal mesh covering on one side to act as a stiffening for the framework and to support a lightweight concrete coating. A method of making a reinforcing stud and panel is provided including molding a pair of end stud members in a predetermined shape and selecting a pair of elongated metal stud members shaped for attachment to the molded end stud members and attaching each stud member at each end to one of the molded end members.

    Abstract: An energy absorbing roadway barrier for dissipating kinetic energy upon impact by a moving vehicle includes an elongated core of reinforced high density concrete having barrier anchor members attached from the elongated core to a position for anchoring the barrier. An elongated barrier portion is formed around the elongated core and around the core anchor members to form a road barrier. The barrier portion is formed of lightweight concrete using lightweight resilient polymer pieces formed in a cement and water mixture and an interlock portion is formed on each end of the road barrier to connect road barrier sections. The lightweight concrete may be pieces of chopped up vulcanized rubber, such as chopped up used tires which have been prepared and coated and mixed with a cement mixture, alternatively lightweight polymer such as polystyrene, which may be chopped up used polystyrene being recycled can be incorporated into the barrier portion.

    Abstract: A floating hydroponic apparatus is provided along with a hydroponic system using the hydroponic apparatus. The floating hydroponic apparatus has a floating hydroponic tray having a floating base portion and a tray portion. The floating base portion is made of a lightweight cement and has floating perimeter walls along with a polymer screen attached between the floating base portion and the tray portion. The floating base portion and tray portion form a plurality of openings therethrough for the passage of liquid. An alkaline resistant coating is applied to at least a portion of the tray. The tray portion is filled with a soil mixture supported by the polymer screen so that plants can be grown in the soil in the trays while the trays are floating upon a liquid reservoir. The trays can be used in conjunction with a hydroponic system having pools with specially designed lightweight concrete walls forming a habitat for marine life.
