Abstract: The present invention relates to a project assessment method and software featuring processes and tools for the implementation and assessment of large, business critical, and high risk business programs and projects. The method provides a work breakdown structure life cycle; a set of work breakdown structure milestones, selected from health check, monthly status, and certification milestones; assessing each milestone based upon process, delivery, and certification process assessment areas; determining best practices; optional feedback mechanisms; and reports at each step to evaluate and provide structured recommendations regarding the status or execution of a project.

Abstract: An adapter for coupling a program cartridge to a programmable video game console comprising a hollow shell of integral molded plastic construction which includes a first shell section adapted internally to receive a program cartridge and a second shell section adapted to be internally received into the cartridge opening of a console. A female card-edge connector is positioned within the shell so as to receive the male card-edge connection in the cartridge, and a printed circuit card is connected to the shell female connector and extends through the second section of the shell for reception and connection to a corresponding female connector within the console. Fingers projecting within the shell are adapted to cooperate with movable flaps in the cartridge and console for removing protective covering from adjacent to the respective cartridge and console connections.

Abstract: Apparatus for providing an optical display as a function of frequency and amplitude of an audio music signal comprising a plurality of frequency selection circuits and a corresponding plurality of linear optical displays for providing a composite bar display comprising a plurality of linear bar segments each having a length which varies as a function of amplitude of a corresponding frequency component of the input music signal. The display is preferably in the form of a row and column array of individual optical display elements such as LED's. The apparatus also includes bar/dot display drivers and an operator-responsive switch for alternately selecting either a bar or a dot display at the LED array.

Abstract: A control circuit for a solar energy heating system comprising a pair of thermistors connected in series across a source of electrical power and respectively disposed to be responsive to fluid temperature in a solar collector and in a storage tank. A negative feedback high frequency oscillator which includes a Schmitt trigger is connected to the junction of the thermistors and provides a high frequency control signal having an amplitude which varies as a function of the temperature differential between the collector and tank. An electronic switch energizes a fluid pump for transporting fluid from the solar collector to the tank when the temperature at the collector exceeds that at the tank by a preselected amount.
