A method of making a bucket having a radial length of at least 1.15 meters (45 inches) includes forming a precipitation hardened martensitic stainless steel having a tensile strength of at least 1520 MPa (220 KSI) and a notch toughness of at least 41 J (30 ft-lb) into the bucket.
