Abstract: A bottle assembly is presented including a body portion having a dividing wall extending therein; a first chamber for holding a first liquid, the first chamber configured to connect to a first orifice; a second chamber for holding a second liquid, the second chamber configured to connect to a second orifice; and a weight distribution mechanism configured to be placed entirely within the body portion of the bottle assembly for counterbalancing the first liquid against the second liquid, the weight distribution mechanism having a plurality of spheres therein.

Abstract: A grocery store or retail establishment easy-pass (E-Z) lane system for enabling express non-contact payment of a plurality of items is presented including an E-Z pass express checkout lane having at least a scanner for scanning the plurality of items and provided exclusively to preferred members pre-registered with the grocery store or retail establishment. The system includes an RFID antenna positioned about the E-Z pass express checkout lane for communicating with an RFID transponder issued to a preferred member when the RFID transponder is in close proximity to the RFID antenna. The E-Z pass checkout lane is activated thereafter for use by the preferred member for express checkout without the preferred member furnishing direct payment at the E-Z pass express checkout lane via a personal payment account that is separate and distinct from a prepaid vendor-established and maintained purchasing account.

Abstract: A method of apprehending a criminal, including scanning fingerprint images from a contact area of at least one item at a point-of-sale (POS) location and/or point-of-entry (POE) location and transmitting the fingerprint images to a local or remote electronic device to identify the criminal is presented. A fingerprint recognition and collection device is also presented including a fingerprint scanner for scanning fingerprint images from a contact area of at least one item; a transmitting unit for transmitting the fingerprint images; a receiving unit for receiving the fingerprint images; and an analyzing unit for analyzing the fingerprint images to identify persons of interest. The fingerprint scanner operates concurrently with a price scanner and/or ticket scanner. The fingerprint scanner is fixedly secured at the POS location and/or the POE location and operates concurrently with the price scanner and/or ticket scanner.

Abstract: A tube cleaning device is presented having a brush including a magnetically attracted component incorporated therein and a magnetic base unit positioned about a tube. The magnetic base unit cooperates with the magnetically attracted component of the brush to advance the brush through the tube. The magnetic base unit may include a housing for accommodating either a single magnet or a pair of opposed magnets or any number of magnetic elements. The magnets may be configured to slidably engage a length of an exterior portion of the tube while positioned within a housing of the magnetic base unit.

Abstract: A bottle assembly including a body portion having a dividing wall, a first chamber for holding a first liquid and a second chamber for holding a second liquid. The base portion of the bottle assembly includes a weight distribution mechanism for counterbalancing the first liquid against the second liquid. The weight distribution mechanism is a flexible member positioned between a first base portion of the first chamber and a second base portion of the second chamber, the flexible member slidingly engaging an inner surface of the base portion of the bottle assembly. When the first liquid is reduced, the first base portion of the first chamber is displaced in a first direction and the second base portion of the second chamber is displaced in a second direction, the first direction being opposite the second direction.

Abstract: A scraper and sandblaster assembly including a sandblaster and a scraper is presented. The sandblaster has a gun-like configuration, including a handle portion having a trigger mechanism; an air inlet portion operably coupled to the handle portion and to an air supply source; a nozzle portion distally disposed with respect to the handle portion; and a granular particle container mounted thereon for holding granular particles. The scraper is in cooperative engagement with the sandblaster, the scraper configured to operate concurrently or simultaneously with the sandblaster. The assembly also includes a debris collection cover encompassing at least a distal portion of the sandblaster and the scraper, the debris collection cover supported on the nozzle portion of the sandblaster.

Abstract: A pacifier is presented including a nipple configured to receive a plurality of breath and saliva samples from a user, a base portion configured for attachment to the nipple, and an output mechanism attached to the base portion and configured for displaying different nutritional information values. The output mechanism may include one or more removable strips. The plurality of breath and saliva samples received from the user via the nipple are analyzed for nutritional information, preferably, continuously and in real-time, and the nutritional information includes at least one of carbohydrates, fats, minerals, protein, fiber, vitamins, water, salt, sugar, sodium, antioxidants, and phytochemicals.

Abstract: An apparatus is presented including an input unit for receiving initial breath samples; a breath analysis module for analyzing the initial breath samples; a comparison module for comparing the initial breath samples to subsequent breath inputs; and a breath authorization module for locking and/or unlocking the apparatus in response to results received from the comparison module. The apparatus may also include a storage unit for storing the initial breath samples and the subsequent breath inputs. The breath analysis module is a chemical breath component analyzer configured to: (i) count each of a plurality of select volatile organic compounds from the initial breath samples and the subsequent breath inputs received from the input unit and (ii) determine a concentration of each of the plurality of the select volatile organic compounds.
