  • Patent number: 11440130
Abstract: A method of controlling operation of an electron beam gun and wire feeder during deposition of pools of molten matter onto a substrate to form beads upon solidification of the molten matter. The method includes providing a substrate and a wire source. A molten pool of liquid phase metal is formed on the substrate by melting the wire utilizing an electron beam generated by an electron beam gun. The liquid metal solidifies into a solid phase. A controller utilizes data from a sensor to adjust a process perimeter based, at least in part, on data generated by the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20130305782
Abstract: A system and method for making jewelry comprising one or more than ornament with a mounting hole therethrough, where the mounting hole has a diameter; a flexible stringing material comprising a first end and a second opposing end. A first clasp element on the first end, where the first clasp element has a diameter, and the diameter of the first clasp element is greater than the diameter of the mounting hole. A mounting post attached to the second end, where the mounting post has a diameter, and the diameter of the mounting post is less than the diameter of the mounting hole. A second clasp element attachable to the mounting post, where the second clasp element has a diameter, and the diameter of the second clasp element is greater than the diameter of the mounting hole. The second clasp element can engage the first clasp element and thereafter be disengaged.

  • Patent number: 8413889
Abstract: A system includes a plurality of machines that operate responsive to data bearing records such as user cards (74, 76, 78, 80, 82, 84, 86). The machines operate to carry out financial transactions with associated host computers (90, 94, 100, 104) responsive to determinations that card data corresponds to computer stored data corresponding to authorized users or accounts. Marketing presentations are stored on and output from the machines responsive to messages exchanged with a market message server (110) which is connected to the machines. Systems can also distribute and activate instructions corresponding to states and screens logic on the machines to determine operation.
