Abstract: Systems for providing a tune master caller identification (ID) device include a telecommunications network and a caller device configured to provide caller identification information for an incoming telephone call, and a tune master caller ID device that is coupled to a telephone device. The tune master caller ID device receives caller identification information, associates a tune with the caller identification information, and plays the tune associated with the caller identification. The telephone device coupled to the tune master caller ID device provides telephone call processing capabilities. Other systems and methods are also provided.

Abstract: The invention provides an additive for lowering the minimum usable temperature of a biodiesel fuel or a diesel/biodiesel blend. The additive comprises at least one saccharide ester and a polymer having a comb structure. In some instances there is only one saccharide ester present. In this case the saccharide ester comprises at least one saturated ester group and at least one unsaturated ester group. In other instances, there is more than one saccharide ester is present. In these cases the additive comprises a first saccharide ester comprising at least one saturated ester group and a second saccharide ester comprising at least one unsaturated ester group.

Abstract: Structural inorganic cellular materials with controlled open porosity are produced by foaming fine particulate-laden aqueous solutions into stable, uniform, dodecahedral froth structures which are dried and sintered by microwave energy or high voltage instant electrical discharge. Porous open cell biomedical implants such as niobium or tantalum acetabular caps with engineered osteoconductive porosity are among the products achievable.

Abstract: A method is provided for managing decisions between a central manager and at least one terminal in an architecture of networks distributed and prioritized according to N levels, with N?2. The central manager is included in a level of rank N. The terminal is included in a level of rank 1. The method includes a step of distributing a decision tree constructed by the central manager and supported by the architecture.

Abstract: A system and method for a caller to control a tune notification for a telephone call includes a service switching point and a service control point. The service switching point is operable to receive a tune notification service access code and a called directory number, and to issue a query in response to receiving the service access code. The service control point is operable to receive the query and issue a response including a tune notification signal to the service switching point. Upon receiving the response from the service control point, the service switching point processes the call so that the tune notification signal causes the tune notification to be applied to a called telephone line associated with the called directory number.

Abstract: A method of treating textiles with a silicone block copolymer containing polyether-amide units is disclosed. Textiles treated with the silicone block copolymer have a feel or hand comparable to conventional hydrophobic silicones, but do not negatively impact the hydrophilicity of the textile.

Abstract: An information handling system (IHS) is disclosed wherein the system includes a processor associated with at least one performance state (P-state), and a memory in communication with the processor. The memory is operable to store a virtualization software and a basic input/out system (BIOS). The BIOS is configured to report a parameter of the P-state to the virtualization software. In addition, the BIOS is configured to transition the processor into a desired P-state. A method for managing performance states in an information handling system (IHS) is further disclosed wherein the method includes providing a basic input/output system (BIOS) in communication with a processor, the processor associated with an at least one performance state (P-state) and reporting a parameter of the at least one P-state to a virtualization software via the BIOS. The method further includes transitioning the processor to a desired P-state via the BIOS.

Abstract: A system for managing multimedia is provided. The system includes an IMS (Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem) network that has a media server and a Call Session Control Function (CSCF) server. The system includes a data store that is in communication with the IMS network. The system also includes an application configured to promote storing multimedia data to the data store. The multimedia data is created by a client. The client communicates with the CSCF and the multimedia server to promote providing the multimedia data for storage to the data store and to promote retrieving the multimedia data stored on the data store.

Abstract: Systems for providing a tune master internet protocol (IP) device includes a communications network configured to provide caller identification information for an incoming telephone call and a processor that is coupled to the communications network. The processor is configured with telephony capabilities and to receive the caller identification information for an incoming telephone call, to access a storage device having tunes, to associate a tune with the caller identification information, and to play the associated tune as notification of the incoming telephone call. Abstract: Systems and methods are for registering and authenticating an unmanaged IP device to an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS). An exemplary method includes implementing a system from which an unmanaged IP device retrieves IMS credentials needed to register and authenticate to the IMS. The system is remote to the unmanaged IP device and is accessible to the unmanaged IP device through an IP access network. The method further includes permitting the unmanaged IP device to register and authenticate to the IMS with the IMS credentials received from the system.

Abstract: An apparatus and method detects an open condition of a grounding path provided by a rotor grounding brush electrically connecting a rotor body of a rotor to electrical ground. The rotor includes an insulated field winding wrapped around the rotor body and is configured to generate a magnetic field upon receipt of an exciter voltage across lower and upper extremities of the insulated field winding. The method includes applying a square wave voltage signal to a second end of each of a first and a second buffer resistor, where a first end of each of the buffer resistors is operatively connected to respective upper and lower leads of the exciter voltage source, and calculating the total capacitance between the insulated field winding and electrical ground. The total capacitance when compared to a pre-selected capacitance value is determinative of the absence of the grounding path.

Abstract: The present invention relates to phenyl amino pyrimidine compounds which are inhibitors of protein kinases including JAK kinases. In particular the compounds are selective for JAK2 kinases. The kinase inhibitors can be used in the treatment of kinase associated diseases such as immunological and inflammatory diseases including organ transplants; hyperproliferative diseases including cancer and myeloproliferative diseases; viral diseases; metabolic diseases; and vascular diseases.

The telecommunication switch comprises: 1) integrated service logic (ISL) objects that perform requested services; and 2) a service control function access manager object that receives a first service request and determines if one of the ISL objects can perform a first requested service associated with the first service request. The service control function access manager object, in response to a determination that none of the ISL objects is capable of performing the first requested service, transmits the first service request to a service control function object external to the telecommunication switch. The service control function access manager object, in response to a determination that a first one of the ISL objects is capable of performing the first requested service, causes the first ISL object to perform the first requested service.

Abstract: This description provides clamps for supporting one or more structural members for installation onto a vehicle structure. The clamps may include two or more curved portions joined by a living hinge. The living hinge may enable the curved portions to pivot relative to one another, providing the clamp with an open position and a closed position. The curved portions may include respective track portions, with the first and second track portions being approximately collinear when the clamp is in the closed position. An elongated rigid latch defines an elongated channel for receiving these respective track portions to provide a rigid structural link between the first and second curved portions. A mounting point is attached to the first or the second curved portion, with the mounting point being adapted to receive the structural members.
