Abstract: The device for grinding food grains such as flaxseed, includes a bulb rotatably within a bowl. The bulb and the bowl together delimit a functional area, a lower area of which includes a device for moving the grain to a lower area having teeth to grind the grain. There is a device for maintaining, between the bulb and the bowl, at the level of the functional area, a clearance to allow for the grinding of the grains and to avoid all contact between the bulb and the bowl at the level of the space. The space is formed so as to prevent any grains returning from the lower area to the upper area. The invention further concerns a mill equipped with such a device for grinding food grains.
