    Abstract: The invention concerns a metal object for medical or surgical use, such as a prosthesis, for example an endovascular prosthesis (called stent) for percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, comprising a metal substrate whereof the surface is coated partly at least with a polysaccharide compound.
