  • Patent number: 7932871
Abstract: The invention concerns an orthogonal loop radiofrequency antenna device designed to receive electromagnetic waves comprising at least two loops (BH, BV) consisting of a single electrical conductor, each of said loops (BH, BV) capable of having a particular shape and located in their respective plane, said planes containing each one of said loops (BH, BV) being orthogonal, and the radiofrequency antenna being located proximate a low frequency antenna.

  • Patent number: 7064457
Abstract: A recognition device is described that is used to control the unlocking of vehicle openings and/or to authorize the start-up of the vehicle. The device includes a first emitter which, on command, can send a first user identification signal over a carrier wave having a given first frequency (?1) to a receiver. The device also includes a second emitter which can emit at least one second user identification signal over a carrier wave having a second frequency (?2) which is different from the first frequency such that the second signal can act as an identifier signal in the shadow zones where the first signal is not recognized.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 11, 2002
Date of Patent: June 20, 2006
    Assignee: Valeo Electronique

  • Publication number: 20040075341
Abstract: The invention relates to a recognition device which is used to control the unlocking of vehicle openings and/or to authorise the start-up of the vehicle. Said device comprises a first emitter which, on command, can send a first user identification signal over a carrier wave having a given first frequency (&ngr;1) to a receiver. The inventive device also comprises a second emitter which can emit at least one second user identification signal over a carrier wave having a second frequency (&ngr;2) which is different from the first frequency such that the second signal can act as an identifier signal in the shadow zones where the first signal is not recognised.
