  • Patent number: 7460918
Abstract: A device may be configured for updating the programming of a control system of an electric rotary machine, the device having no screen. The device may include an electrical or optical connector element for connection to the control system, enabling data to be transferred between the device and the control system and a memory for containing data to be transferred into the control system and/or for loading data from the control system. The device may include a control member, with data being exchanged between the device and the control system in response to an action exerted manually on the control member.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 9, 2005
Date of Patent: December 2, 2008
    Assignee: Moteurs Leroy-Somer

  • Publication number: 20040046892
Abstract: A method for the storage of sub-pages of a teletext service comprises a page (Y0) to be stored, said page (Y0) to be stored comprising at least one sub-page. A desired sub-page is stored (E2, E4) and, as the case may be, sub-pages neighboring the desired sub-page are stored (E5) until a maximum number of stored sub-pages (MAXY0) is reached or until a limit number (NB_LIMY0) of sub-pages of the page to be stored is reached. In one example, the desired sub-page is the rank 1 sub-page of the page to be stored, and the neighboring sub-pages, if any, are the following sub-pages. A user thus has direct access to the start of the information contained in the page to be stored. In another example, the desired page is a rank X0 sub-page requested by a user, and the sub-pages neighboring the desired sub-pages are pages with ranks 1, X0+1, X0−1, etc.

  • Patent number: 6545720
Abstract: In a method for the display of teletext headers on a television receiver screen during a search for a teletext page, the teletext service uses a first group of characters comprising fixed characters and locations to receive variable characters and a second group of sets of characters, each set of characters being proper to a language and being designed to be introduced selectively at the locations of variable characters of said first group. The set of characters to be introduced into the first set is selected as soon as the first data packet enabling it to be identified is received by the TV receiver in such a way that the headers are displayed properly.

    Assignee: STMicroelectronics S.A.
    Inventors: Vincent Tauzia, Thierry Crespo
  • Patent number: 6424378
Abstract: In a method of teletext management, the data processing is separated into at least two tasks. A first task deals with the processing of the data from the rough extraction, and a second task carries out the rest of the data processing. The first task activates the second task by an interrupt with a priority lower than an interrupt activating the first task. The method thus enables the interruption of the second task to carry out a following first task, thus eliminating any timing drift that may cause the loss of the data packet coming from the rough extraction.
