  • Publication number: 20110189901
Abstract: A wire clamp for earthing a metal structure includes a body (10) having a tapped cylindrical cavity opening at a first end of the body, the other end being closed by a bottom (12) pierced with a hole (13) for the passage of a screw (20) for fastening the body onto metal structure, the body having over at least a part of the tapped cavity two through-slots facing each other that are formed along two generatrices of the cylindrical cavity and opening at the first end and a threaded plug (30) having a formation for rotational driving and adapted to helicoidally engage in the tapping of the cylindrical cavity to clamp a core of an electrical wire against the bottom of the slots, the plug having a central through-hole (32) adapted to allow passage of a tool for rotationally driving the screw for fastening the body onto the metal structure.

  • Patent number: 7136401
Abstract: Disclosed is a Raman laser device (10) having a first cavity in which lasing occurs at a first frequency, and at least one second cavity in which lasing occurs at a second frequency. Thereby respective first and second waves inside the respective cavities are generated having a first power and a second power, respectively. Further, beams propagating outside the cavities are generated by coupling out a part of the first power and a part of the second power utilizing respective output mirrors. The part of the second power that is coupled out is attenuated without attenuating the complementary part of the second power remaining in the second cavity. The Raman laser device is characterized in that the part of the second power that is coupled out is attenuated utilizing at least one Fiber Bragg Grating (46, 62).

  • Publication number: 20030012502
Abstract: A method for imprinting a plurality of slanted Bragg gratings into a photosensitive optical fiber by exposure of said fiber to a pattern of light shaped in space and/or time and of suitable wavelenth is presented. According to the invention a basic slanted Bragg grating of a determined period is imprinted into said fiber, while, simultanously, a periodic apodisation function is applied to said single slanted Bragg grating. In its preferred embodiment the imprinting light pattern is generated by a phase mask from a UV laser, the phase mask being dithered during the imprinting.
