The sole includes at least two members for connecting the boot to a binding device, the connecting members including portions anchored in the sole, the connecting members being fixed to a common anchoring element, the anchoring element being affixed to a predetermined section of the sole, the anchoring element including two anchoring zones, each connecting member being fixed to one of the anchoring zones, and the anchoring element including a central zone extending between the two anchoring zones, such central zone of the anchoring element being sufficiently flexible to enable, during the use of the boot, the bending of the predetermined section of the sole to which the anchoring element is affixed.

The base has two edges that project upwardly and surround the lower portion of the rear quarter, each of the vertical edges having a longitudinal groove capable of receiving a platform provided on the outer sides of the rear quarter, and attaching mechanism allowing the attachment of the rear quarter to the base in various positions.

Abstract: A device for guiding a flap of a closure and, more particularly, a flap of a closure of an article of footwear. More particularly, the invention is directed to an article of footwear in the form of a sports boot equipped with at least two semi-rigid upper elements, i.e., flaps, which overlap during the closing or adjustment of the footwear, thus defining an upper flap and a lower flap, the footwear also being equipped with a tightening mechanism. The tightening mechanism, according to the invention, includes a structural arrangement for ensuring the guiding of the lower flap beneath the upper flap, the guiding arrangement prohibiting the engagement of the lower flap over the upper flap.

Abstract: A skating boot adapted to be affixed to a chassis, the boot including a flexible, at least partially padded upper, shaped to envelope the foot and the lower leg, and a reinforcing portion including at least one rigid sole connected to the chassis and a heel reinforcement. The flexible upper includes a front foot covering portion having a rear scallop at least in the heel zone. A rear cuff, independent of the covering portion, includes a heel enveloping portion and a rising portion to envelope the lower leg. The front foot covering portion and the rear cuff are assembled detachably to form a flexible upper whose length can be adjusted. The boot is adaptable to a variety of sizes and foot morphologies, while ensuring a uniform enveloping and the same level of comfort, regardless of the adjustment length adopted.
