  • Patent number: 11840106
Abstract: A method for decorating a sliding board including on its visible part, a composite material formed of a fibrous layer coated with hardenable resin, includes preparing a transfer film that includes a face covered with a pattern constituted of an arrangement of grains of at least one type of ink. The ink includes colourants and a crosslinked polymer. The method also includes positioning the face of the transfer film covered with the pattern on all or some of the external surface of the composite material, applying pressure and temperature conditions generating the softening or/then hardening of the resin to as to incrust the grains of the pattern in the superficial layer of the composite material while conserving the arrangement of the grains, and peeling the transfer film.

  • Publication number: 20140217641
Abstract: Process for the manufacturing of a board for gliding on snow, with the said board including at least one fibrous reinforcement (20) embedded in an acrylic resin, during which one places all the component parts of the board in a mold in order, after closure of the mold, to expose this assembly to pre-determined pressure and/or temperature conditions, characterized by the fact that, before and/or during the subjection to the said pressure and/or temperature conditions, the fibrous reinforcement (20) is impregnated with an impregnation composition including at least 70%, in weight, of alkyl (meth)acrylate.

  • Publication number: 20080185800
Abstract: A snowboard (1), comprising a core (4) covered with an upper assembly (10), which comprises: a reinforcing layer (12) impregnated with a polymerized resin, an upper protective layer (11) having a penetrating opening (20, 21), and an additional decorative element (13) present inside said opening (2) extending under the upper protective layer (11) at the periphery of said opening, characterized in that the additional decorative element (13) is formed of a layer of fibrous material, and in that it comprises a layer (14) of a polymer material forming a seal barrier between said additional element (13) and the resin of the reinforcing layer (12), said sealed layer (14) extending under the additional element and projecting beyond said element (13) to contact the underside (16) of the upper protective layer (11).

  • Patent number: 7261791
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a board for gliding over snow comprises producing a decorative and protective exterior assembly with at least one additional piece. At least one opening is made in the exterior assembly. The additional piece or pieces are placed on an outer surface of the exterior assembly, each piece having at least one through-fixing zone, passing through the opening or openings. The through-fixing zone or zones penetrate an inner structure of the board and constitutes one or more securing means for the piece or pieces.
