  • Patent number: 9783280
Abstract: A double-deck airplane that facilitates passenger embarking/disembarking and cargo loading/unloading operations in order to maximize the number of flight missions carried out in a given time. The floors of its upper and lower decks are planar surfaces extending continuously inside the fuselage in at least the inner space of the fuselage intended for the payload; the lower deck is located at a height from the ground that allows carrying out passenger embarking/disembarking via equipment incorporated in the airplane without any external airport ground equipment; passenger and/or cargo compartments are distributed on the upper and/or lower decks; and the lifting structure is disposed in the airplane in a manner that none of its components crosses the upper and lower decks.

Date of Patent: October 10, 2017
Assignees: Airbus Operations (SAS), Airbus Operations GmbH, Airbus Operations Limited, Airbus Operations S.L.

  • Publication number: 20150166166
Abstract: The invention provides a double-deck airplane that facilitates passenger embarking/disembarking and cargo loading/unloading operations in order to maximize the number of flight missions carried out in a given time. Among other the airplane has the following features: the floors of the upper and lower decks (41, 43) are planar surfaces extending continuously inside the fuselage in at least the inner space of the fuselage intended for the payload; the lower deck (43) is located at a height from the ground that allows carrying out passenger embarking/disembarking autonomously without any specific airport ground equipment; passenger and/or cargo compartments (64, 63) are distributed throughout the upper and/or lower decks (41, 43); the lifting structure is disposed in the airplane in a manner that none of its components crosses the upper and lower decks (41, 43).

  • Patent number: 7503149
Abstract: A method of producing a double-walled thermo-structural composite monolith may include assembling, by stitching, a sandwich having a core and outer fibrous armors. The stitched sandwich structure is impregnated with a viscous resin. After the resin hardens, the core is removed from the sandwich structure.

  • Patent number: 7035450
Abstract: The stereotaxic images being digitized, a target pixel in a target region of interest is selected, a target window of chosen dimensional characteristics and containing the said target region of interest is generated around the selected target pixel, a set of pixels is determined in a second image, according to a predetermined selection criterion, a second window, of the same dimensional characteristics as the said target window, is generated around each selected pixel, a correlation processing between the grey-scale levels of the pixels of each second window and the grey-scale levels of the pixels of the target window is carried out so as to obtain a correlation value for each second window, and the region of interest homologous to the target region of interest is identified on the basis of the analysis of the set of correlation values thus obtained, so as to minimize the risks of matching error between the homologous regions of interest.

  • Publication number: 20040128946
Abstract: The invention concerns a method characterized in that it consists in assembling by stitching a sandwich consisting of a core and outer fibrous armors and impregnating the stitching thread during the impregnation process of said fibrous armours, and thereafter eliminating said core, said stitching fiber forming spacers (23) between the skins (21, 22).

  • Patent number: 6453004
Abstract: Radiology system and method for data transmission comprising emission of an X-ray beam, reception of the X-ray beam after it has crossed an organ to be studied, reception control, an image former, a first network server associated with the reception control and a second network server associated with the image former, each server being capable of transmitting data in html format to a remote computer.
