    Abstract: A method and device develops customer loyalty, whereby each member is supplied with a unique identification means. The method and system has a terminal having a reader of the unique identification means provided at points of sale whereby, during a transaction at a point of sale, the terminal dispatches, to a customer loyalty development server, a message containing the identity of the member. An identity of the point of sale and/or of the affiliate and the data relating to the transaction is provided to the customer loyalty development server which allocates a number of points to a points counter in the database of the members.
