  • Patent number: 10480371
Abstract: The invention relates to a metering device (10) for introducing a process liquid or auxiliary agent into a flow pipe of an internal combustion engine, in particular for introducing a reducing agent into an exhaust gas pipe (12). Said device comprises an injection valve (22) and a receiving device (50) comprising a heat sink element (46) and a cover element (48). The injection valve (22) and the receiving device (50) are combined to form a structural unit by means of bonded connections (62, 64).

  • Publication number: 20110133002
Abstract: The invention relates to an injection valve member for a fuel injector, which injection valve member is of multi-part design and which has different functional regions. To reduce the production costs for a fuel injector having an injection valve member, the injection valve member includes two guide bodies which are fastened to a separate connecting rod.

  • Publication number: 20070290075
Abstract: A fuel injection valve, having an outer valve needle cooperating with a valve seat for opening and closing at least one outer injection opening, an inner valve needle disposed in the outer valve needle and cooperating with the valve seat for opening and closing at least one inner injection opening. The fuel pressure in a control chamber that can be filled with fuel under pressure acts on the outer valve needle and the inner valve needle in such a way that a closing force in the direction of the valve seat is exerted on the inner valve needle and the outer valve needle. An inner pressure face disposed on the inner valve needle and a shoulder is disposed on the outer valve needle, which each, on being subjected to pressure, exert a hydraulic opening force, oriented counter to the closing force, on the inner valve needle and the outer valve needle.
