  • Publication number: 20230115878
Abstract: Continuous condition monitoring of an electrical system, and in particular for early fault detection, is provided. The condition monitoring unit is formed with an interface to a memory in which a trained normal state model is stored as a one-class model that has been trained in a training phase with normal state data and represents a normal state of the electrical system. Further, the condition monitoring unit comprises a data interface for continuously acquiring sensor data of the electrical system by means of a set of sensors, an extractor for extracting features from the acquired sensor data, a differentiator for determining deviations of the extracted features from learned features of the normal state model by means of a distance metric (e.g., Euclidean norm, sum norm, maximum norm), a scoring for calculating an anomaly score from the determined deviations, and an output unit for outputting the calculated anomaly score.

  • Publication number: 20230092572
Abstract: A valve arrangement (10) for industrial automation, including at least one pneumatic valve module (4) with a module housing (5), the valve module (4) having a working port (2), an electric drive device, and at least one actuator element (6) which is arranged in the module housing (5), can be positioned, in particular proportionally, by means of the electric drive device and via whose position a valve module output pressure at the working port (2) and/or a flow rate through the working port (2) can be set, wherein the valve module (4) further has a valve module pressure sensor (7) for detecting the valve module output pressure, the valve arrangement (10) further including a diagnostic device (8) which is configured to provide a diagnostic function on the basis of the detected valve module output pressure, the diagnostic function including a failure prognosis of the valve module, a compressed air leakage detection, a compressed air consumption detection and/or a compressed air consumer localization.

  • Patent number: 11300952
Abstract: An error detection and localisation in a pneumatic system and in particular an error detection module includes a read-in interface for reading-in digital signals from the automation plant, a first processor unit designed to execute a detection algorithm for calculating an anomaly score for the automation plant on the basis of the set of read-in signals, a second processor unit which is designed—in the event that the anomaly score calculated with the first processor unit indicates an anomaly—to perform a machine localisation method for localising the error, wherein the machine localisation method has been trained in a training phase in order to calculate and as a result provide, on the basis of a detected circuit diagram of the automation plant with respect to the calculated anomaly score, probabilities of possible causes of error in relation to individual components of the automation plant.

  • Patent number: 8554972
Abstract: A logic chip has a plurality of individually-addressable resource blocks, each comprising logic circuitry. The logic chip also has a bus comprising a plurality of bus information lines. A first of the resource blocks has a coupling between a first strict sub-set of the bus information lines and the logic circuitry of the first resource block. A second of the resource blocks, which is adjacent to the first resource block, has a coupling between a second strict sub-set of the bus information lines and the logic circuitry of the second resource blocks. The first and second sub-sets have different bus lines.

  • Patent number: 8018249
Abstract: A logic chip has a plurality of individually addressable resource blocks each of the resource blocks having logic circuitry, and a communication bar extending across a plurality of the individually addressable resource blocks. The communication bar has a plurality of communication bar segments associated with the resource slots. The communication bar segments of the individually addressable resource blocks have identical interface locations with respect to boundaries of the resource blocks, such that an input interface location of a first resource block matches an output interface location of an adjacent second resource block. At least one of the individually addressable resource blocks has a bypass segment of the communication bar. At least one of the individually addressable resource blocks has an access segment of the communication bar.
