Abstract: A packaging system for a powered oral care device is disclosed. The packaging system includes a first module having at least one powered oral care accessory contained within an interior space of the first module; a second module having a powered oral care device contained within an interior space of the second module, the powered oral care device including a handle section and a cleaning section coupled to the handle section; and a container encompassing the first module and the second module, wherein the container includes two or more windows through which the powered oral care device is visible to a consumer. The packaging system has a height of not more than about 255 mm and a tip angle of about 9 degrees or higher.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and system for providing a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) live streaming service over a Content Distribution Network (CDN). The method includes the steps of (A) a peer present on a network searching for an adjacent surrogate, that is, a superpeer in a bin where peers are grouped, (B) the peer sending a content request message to the surrogate, (C) the surrogate finding a corresponding peer list and then sending the peer list to the peer in response to the content request message, or, if the surrogate cannot find a peer list corresponding to the content request message and makes a request to a surrogate overlay, the surrogate overlay sending information about a surrogate having corresponding content to the peer, and (D) the peer requesting content from the surrogate having sent the peer list or from a surrogate included in the information about a surrogate, and receiving the corresponding content.

Abstract: A method, a system, and network elements for transmitting information between a user equipment and an IP packet gateway, are disclosed, the IP packet gateway communicating with an IP network via an interface, wherein, when the UE is requesting at least one service requiring access to the IP network, authorization of the requested service is checked, wherein an error message is sent from the IP packet gateway to the user equipment, when the requested service is not authorized. The present invention discloses several options of signaling error messages between IP packet gateway and UE, for example, via IP layer signaling (e.g. RESV ERR messages) or link layer signaling (e.g. IS2000 and IOS signaling). The solution according to the present invention, in particular, relates to a CDMA network in connection with an IP multimedia subsystem network.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a packet data communication system and a method for use in a packet data communication system. The system includes at least one access network configured to provide a wireless interface between a mobile device and the access network for communication of packet data and a core network including at least one core network node for supporting the communication of packet data on the wireless interface. A controller is provided in association with the access network and configured to monitor at least one condition associated with the wireless interface. If the monitoring indicates that the at least one condition is met, the controller sends messages to the core network node in response to messages from the core network node.

Abstract: A method of operating an aluminium electrowinning cell that has one or more metal-based anodes (5). The anodes (5) comprise metal-based foraminate anode bodies (10) which are suspended by metal-based anode stems (20) in a molten electrolyte (50) and which are spaced above a cathode (30). The method comprises electrolysing alumina dissolved in the molten electrolyte (50) by passing current via the anode stems (20) and the anode bodies (10) through the electrolyte (50) to the facing cathode (30) whereby aluminium (60) is cathodically produced and gas is anodically evolved. The gas promotes an electrolyte circulation (51) through the foraminate anode bodies (10) which facilitates dissolution of alumina. Each anode (5) has a foraminate anode body (10) suspended by least three anode stems (20) that are spaced apart from one another and distributed around a foraminate stemless central part of the anode body (10).

Abstract: A novel system and method for determining a qualified loan applicant is disclosed. In one embodiment, applicant information and potential first liens are compared to determine candidate first liens based on applicant information. Debt-to-income ratio requirement information associated with the candidate first liens is stored. Candidate second liens associated with the candidate first liens are determined, and the debt-to-income ratio of the combination of the candidate first and second liens is determined. Qualifying combinations are determined by comparing the debt-to-income ratio to the stored debt-to-income ratio requirement. In another embodiment, candidate first liens are organized by common characteristics and outputted with associated second liens. Other embodiments, such as optimizations on the system and method, are disclosed herein.

The integral oxide layer can be formed by surface oxidation of cobalt from the metallic outer part before use.

Abstract: A signal modification circuit is provided for use with multi-mode formatted data in accordance with a common mode component and a high frequency component formatted in accordance with a differential mode. The circuit includes an active module that modifies the high frequency component to generate a modified and enhanced high frequency component at an output thereof. A bypass line interconnects the inputs and outputs of the active module to bypass the active module. A low pass filter is provided along the bypass line blocking passage of the high frequency component along the bypass line.
