    Abstract: A computing device includes a first module configured to determine at least one quantity at a plurality of axial locations in a catalytic converter. Each axial location extends in a direction that is generally parallel to a direction of flow of exhaust gas through the catalytic converter. The computing device further includes a second module configured to receive the quantity determined by the first module and solve the three-dimensional model of the catalytic converter based at least in part on the received quantity.
