  • Patent number: 7333016
Abstract: A property entrance and exit notification, inventory control system of the present invention automates the documentation of entry time, exit time and position of personnel entering, equipment, tools and vehicles exiting and movement throughout the property. Being logged into the system identifies time of entry onto the property and time of exit off the property. Logging in with an identification card into the system is identified and activated by one of the following; “RFID” Radio Frequency Identification, “SAW” Surface Acoustic Wave, Barcode or “GPS” Global Positioning System. • Patent number: 7101064
Abstract: The present invention is a device, which illuminates light inside of a tractor trailer truck van and other loading vehicles at a loading dock during loading and unloading procedures. As professionals working with such vehicles understand, natural lighting is simply not enough to prevent serious loading and unloading accidents, primarily at the deep end of the truck trailer van body. The loading dock spot light of the present invention with its short body design helps prevent fork trucks from hitting and destroying it. The overall short body of the light structure is designed to stay out of the primary main path of the fork truck traffic, allowing the light emitted from the light bulb to just peek beyond the loading dock door seal edge. The present invention is a simple mechanical device, which reduces loading dock operator confusion during loading and unloading operation, maintenance, and repair.

  • Patent number: 6812849
Abstract: The loading dock traffic automation and inventory control system of the present invention automates the loading dock area by controlling a truck control notification automation system, traffic signal dock lights, loading dock spot light, loading dock fan and dock leveler. The manually operated control panel is energized or de-energized with full automation by the movement of the overhead dock door. The device includes a control panel enclosure mounted on the interior wall of the building next to the loading dock door. One control panel enclosure can service one or two loading dock doors.

  • Patent number: 6652114
Abstract: The present invention is a bracket assembly for supporting a traffic signal dock light, comprising of a three-dimensional offset face mounting bracket to be mounted to the building exterior loading dock door jamb. The load of the traffic signal light is transferred to the exterior door jamb of the building. The bracket assembly of the present invention has adequate distance between the door jamb and traffic signal dock light to provide proper installation for the dock door seal.
