  • Publication number: 20220218531
Abstract: A negative pressure assembly includes a drape, a sealing element, a reactor, a valve and a mechanical pump assembly. The drape and the sealing element, when applied to the skin, cooperate to define an enclosed volume. The reactor is located so as to be in fluid communication with the enclosed volume when the drape is covering the dressing site. The reactor reacts with a selected gas found in air to consume the selected gas. The valve has a first operating state in which gas is drawn from the enclosed volume through the valve. The mechanical pump assembly includes a pump chamber fluidly connectable to the enclosed volume through the valve when the valve is in the first operating state. The mechanical pump is configured to fluidly connect with the enclosed volume and draw air from the enclosed volume into the pump chamber.

  • Publication number: 20220131906
Abstract: Some network architectures include perimeter or edge devices which perform network address translation or otherwise modify data in a network traffic packet header, such as the source address. The modification of the source address prevents downstream devices from knowing the true or original source address from which the traffic originated. To address this issue, perimeter devices can insert the original source address in an X-Forwarded-For field of the packet header. Firewalls and related security services can be programmed to record the original source address in the XFF field in addition to the other packet information and to consider the original source address during security analysis. Using the original source address in the XFF field, services can determine additional characteristics about the traffic, such as geographic origin or associated user accounts, and use these characteristics to identify applicable rules or policies.

  • Patent number: 11300632
Abstract: An apparatus, such as an adjustable frequency drive (AFD), includes an inverter configured to be selectively coupled to a motor in a first mode and an AC line in a second mode and a control circuit configured to operate the inverter as a motor drive in the first mode and as a power compensator in the second mode. The power compensator may provide power factor correction. The control circuit may include a scalar controller configured to control the inverter according to a voltage vs. frequency characteristic determined by a field weakening point reference and the control circuit may vary the field weakening point reference in the second mode. The inverter may have an input coupled to a DC bus and the control circuit may be configured to adjust a frequency of the inverter in the second mode to increase a voltage on the DC bus.

  • Patent number: 11249249
Abstract: A method is used to select a multimode fiber meeting requirements of a first minimum bandwidth at a first wavelength and a second minimum bandwidth at a second wavelength different from the first wavelength. Differential mode delay (DMD) data is measured for the multimode fiber at the first wavelength. The DMD data comprises output laser pulse data as a function of the radial position of an input laser pulse having the first wavelength. The DMD data is transformed into mode group space, to obtain relative mode group delay data as a function of mode group. The multimode fiber is selected based on meeting requirements of the first minimum bandwidth at the first wavelength based on a first set of criteria, comprising a first criterion using as input the measured differential mode delay (DMD) data for the multimode fiber measured at the first wavelength.
