    Abstract: A locking device adapted to be mounted upon a hand brake lever handle of an automobile in a manner to prevent theft of the automobile includes a tubular inner sleeve adapted to attach to the handle, and a tubular outer sleeve which removably and telescopically engages the inner sleeve. A lock located at the upper extremity of the outer secures the outer sleeve to the inner sleeve, thereby preventing access to an underlying depressable brake release button on the lever handle.
