  • Publication number: 20250032069
Abstract: A radiation shield assembly is described, configured to block radiation emanating from a radiation source from reaching a user. Two shields are supported by a support arm, and are configured to rotate and translate relative to one another about the support arm's longitudinal axis. This allows the shield to be easily configured and reconfigured as necessary to visualize various parts of a patient's body via radiography.

  • Patent number: 8056062
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are generally directed to systems and methods for converting application code in a turbine control system. According to one embodiment of the invention, a method for converting a turbine control system may be provided for. The method may include providing a first application code format including one or more elements, providing a second application code format including one or more elements, and identifying mappings of the one or more first application code format elements to the one or more second application code format elements. The method may further include retrieving a first control system application code written in the first application code format, and generating application data from the first control system application code based at least in part on the identified mappings. Additionally, the method may include converting the application data to a second control system application code written in the second application code format.

  • Publication number: 20100180591
Abstract: A diesel engine comprises a plurality of cylinders (2), an inlet duct (4), an exhaust duct (6), a turbocharger (8, 10) and a supercharger (14), the turbocharger being of variable output type and including a turbine (8) in the exhaust duct (6) and a supercharger (14) being of variable output type and situated in the inlet duct (4) between the compressor wheel (10) and the cylinders and being electrically driven or mechanically driven by the engine. The engine also includes a first sensor (25) arranged to produce a signal indicative of the speed of the engine, a second sensor (27) arranged to produce a signal indicative of the load to which the engine is subjected and a third sensor (26) arranged to produce a signal indicative of the pressure in the inlet duct (4) downstream of the supercharger (14). The sensors (25, 27, 26) are connected to a controller (29) which is also connected to the turbocharger and the supercharger and is arranged to vary their output independently.
