  • Publication number: 20190098637
Abstract: A wireless communication node operates using radio resources in a first frequency allocation with a first type of communication configuration and in a second frequency allocation with a second type of communication configuration. An operation control device determines a profile of the interference between transmissions in the two frequency allocations, the interference profile setting out radio resources in at least the first frequency allocation, deemed to be interfered by transmissions in the second frequency allocation, and provides the interference profile for adjusting communication between the wireless communication node and the wireless communication devices for improving communication quality in the first frequency allocation. A wireless communication device in turn adjusts communication settings for the first frequency allocation based on the interference profile.

  • Patent number: 10076695
Abstract: A hockey training device is provided. The training device includes a substantially flat sheet with a smooth upper surface. The present invention includes a plurality of elastic band suspended to the upper surface. A first vertical post and a second vertical post may be attached to the flat sheet so that the elastic band is secured about the first and second vertical posts. The elastic band includes a front surface facing towards a center portion of the flat sheet. Therefore, a puck may be passed towards the elastic band and the elastic band rebounds the puck towards the user. The device may be used to train both backhand and forehand shooting and pucks skills. Further, the device may be used to train a sliding skating motion in a skating training mode.

  • Patent number: 9882617
Abstract: In one aspect of this disclosure, a communication device sends first and second precoding reports to a network node by time multiplexing the first and second precoding reports onto a reporting channel in accordance with a multiplexing ratio. The first and second precoding reports comprise first and second precoding recommendations, respectively, and correspond to the first and second dimensions of an antenna array used for transmitting to the communication device. Among other advantages, multiplexing of the first and second reports enables the communication device to reuse a reporting channel and at least some of the underlying reporting protocols or signaling arrangements to report multi-dimensional precoding information. The corresponding network node uses its knowledge of the multiplexing ratio to differentiate between the first and second reports. Moreover, the involved multiplexing ratio may be adapted, either by the network or the communication device, in view of changing operating scenarios.

  • Patent number: 9742533
Abstract: Techniques for minimizing the loss of radio signals transmitted on and/or received from serving cells in a multi-carrier system by selectively adapting the time instance at which a wireless terminal: (1) changes its radio frequency (RF) bandwidth or activates a second RF chain or any additional RF chain for measuring on one or more secondary serving cells, and/or (2) performs setup or release of one or more secondary serving cells. An example method, implemented in a radio network node, comprises determining (510) a scheduling instance during which a wireless terminal is expected to be scheduled on at least one cell; and, determining (520) a timing at which to send a setup or release command for at least one secondary cell such that the requested set up or release procedure does not coincide with the scheduling instance.

  • Publication number: 20160380682
Abstract: A method in anode for achieving Radio Frequency, RF, requirement levels across a set of RF transceivers of a base station, wherein the set of RF transceivers generates one or more Multiple-Input Multiple-Out-put, MIMO, branches. The node groups (606) the one or more MIMO branches into groups of MIMO branches, wherein the one or more MIMO branches in each group of MIMO branches are generated from the same set of RF transceivers. The node generates a combined requirement level by combining (607) a per MIMO branch RF requirements level for the MIMO branches in the group of MIMO branches using a combining function. The node distributes (609) the combined requirement level into a respective individual RF requirement level for each of the respective RF transceivers according to a distribution function.
