  • Publication number: 20120150119
Abstract: Delivery systems and methods of creating an accessory maxillary ostium and implanting a ventilation tube for purposes of ventilation, irrigation, infusion or procedural work are described. The delivery systems include an introducer and an associated ventilation tube. An irrigation and/or infusion catheter may be advanced through the ventilation tube in order to irrigate or express the contents of the sinus cavities. A secondary irrigation and/or infusion catheter or a balloon catheter may be advanced through an outer irrigation and/or infusion catheter, deeply into the sinus cavity, in order to irrigate or express the contents of the sinus cavities. Moreover, the balloon catheter may alternatively or additionally be employed to for dilation of the natural ostium. Still further, a device for delivering drugs, fluids or the like, may be coupled to the ventilation tube for delivery of same.

  • Patent number: 5689613
Abstract: The quartz tubes of the heating elements of an infrared oven have a limited portion of their circumference coated with a mixture containing platinum. The platinum coating provides a reflective surface to direct infrared radiation towards the object to be heated within the oven. The heating element tubes coated with platinum provide substantially the same performance and are significantly less expensive to manufacture than conventional heating element tubes with a gold reflective coating.

  • Patent number: 5398425
Abstract: An oven has heating units to dry the paint on a freshly painted automotive vehicle. Each heating unit has infra-red tubes mounted on a frame. A reflector plate having a reflecting surface is provided behind the frame. The frame is mounted for swinging movement from an operative position adjacent to the reflecting surface of the reflector plate to an inoperative position allowing access to the reflecting surface to enable the reflecting surface to be cleaned. A quick acting latch is provided to releasably secure the frame in its operative position.

  • Patent number: RE30702
Abstract: Apparatus movable along a spinning frame to doff full bobbins from the spindles thereof and to don empty bobbins onto such spindles. Low pressure pneumatic sensors are provided for emitting a stream of low pressure air into the path of movement of selected elements of the apparatus and generating a pneumatic signal each time a stream of low pressure air is interrupted by the movement of such elements, and a low pressure pneumatic control system receives the pneumatic signals and operates the selected elements of the apparatus in a predetermined sequence.
