  • Publication number: 20200073631
Abstract: A system and method for isolating electronic data and generating enhanced data. A data subscription unit receives data having plural data formats from data source devices. The data may be received pre-filtered or filtered by the data subscription unit. A modeling unit may receive the filtered data from the storage databases, may determine eligibility of the stored data based on eligibility criteria, sort the eligible data based on at least one sorting parameter, adjust and/or normalize the eligible data based on at least one adjustment parameter and/or an aggregate value for a data attribute, generate data metrics over a defined set of time periods based on the eligible data, generate further data metrics based on the data metrics, and derive specified values from these metrics. A data distribution device may transmit or make available the data metrics, further data metrics and values to remote devices.

  • Publication number: 20200058230
Abstract: A word selection module of an assessment engine executed by a first computing device selects a word from a word database and modifies an administrator user interface displayed by the first computing device to include a display of the selected word and an interface element for scoring the selected word. The assessment engine modifies a subject user interface displayed by a second computing device to an assessment subject, to display the selected word. A feedback analysis module of the assessment engine receives an input to the administrator user interface and determines that the input indicates the assessment subject incorrectly read the selected word. A diagnoses module diagnoses a level of mastery of a phonics skill of the assessment subject. The assessment engine modifies the administrator user interface to include an identification of an activity for improving the diagnosed level of mastery.

  • Publication number: 20200021618
Abstract: A system validates the establishment and/or continuation of a connection between two applications over a network using a two-stage process: (1) a local security agent executing on the same source system as the source application validates the connection against a set of policies stored locally on the source system; and (2) a local security agent executing on the same destination system as the destination application validates the connection against a set of policies stored locally on the destination system. The connection is allowed or blocked depending on the outcome of the two-stage validation. Before the validation process, a policy enforcement engine distributes copies of a trusted public certificate to the source and destination local security agents, which extend their local copies of the certificate to enable them to enforce policies without the use of a backend system.

  • Publication number: 20200012590
Abstract: Development-time awareness of production environment dependency injection configuration in a software development or test environment. In a software development or test environment, metadata is retrieved relating to configuration data of injection sources and target injection sites in applications of a configured target production server or a representation of a configured target production server. A configuration data structure is formed that cross-references target injection sites and injectable sources determined from the configuration data, the configuration data structure being associated with the production server and available to the software development or test environment. The configuration data structure is referenced to carry out dependency injection related features.
