  • Publication number: 20160258799
Abstract: A method for recognizing an error in the acquisition of a pulsing sensor quantity of a sensor in a gas line system of an internal combustion engine includes: acquisition of a plurality of sensor values of the pulsing sensor quantity that represent a curve of the sensor quantity; determination of a deviation value that indicates a measure of a deviation of the pulsing sensor values from a mean value of the sensor quantity; and recognition of an error of the sensor as a function of the deviation value.

  • Publication number: 20160161322
Abstract: A method is provided for identifying an averaged sensor value of a state variable of an air system for an internal combustion engine in a motor vehicle, comprising the following steps: acquiring and temporarily storing sensor values at a predefined sampling interval during a segment duration of the state variable, the segment duration corresponding to one period of a pulsation of the state variable; determining an average of the sensor values acquired within the segment duration; correcting the average of the sensor values that has been determined, using a correction variable that depends on the time difference between the segment duration and a multiple of the sampling interval.

  • Publication number: 20150084553
Abstract: A synchronous transfer control system includes an arc resistant enclosure having a main housing having an open top portion and an arc plenum, the arc plenum having a closed front portion, a closed rear portion, and at least one open side portion, and a plurality of synchronous transfer control components housed within the main housing including: (i) a hard bussed first bus structured to be coupled to a first power source, (ii) a second power source, and (iii) a hard bussed second bus, wherein an output of the second power source is able to be selectively coupled to the second bus, wherein the first bus is able to be selectively and individually coupled to each of the motors, and wherein the second bus is able to be selectively and individually coupled to each of the motors.

  • Patent number: 8395044
Abstract: An improved cable assembly includes at least a first elongated signal-carrying cable and a protector that has an elongated covering apparatus that is connected with the signal-carrying cable. The covering apparatus has a resilient portion having a number of corrugations. The signal-carrying cable is received within the covering apparatus, and the resilient portion is moved from a free state to a collapsed state. The signal-carrying cable and the covering apparatus are received at least partially in an uncured quantity of potting compound, and the compound is then permitted to cure.

  • Patent number: 7203591
Abstract: A method for controlling an internal combustion engine in which each cylinder of the internal combustion engine is assigned at least one system deviation and at least one controller, each controller predefining a cylinder-specific control signal on the basis of the assigned system deviation, is characterized in that at least one first controller which predefines the control signal as a function of at least one signal characterizing the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine is provided, and at least one second controller which predefines the control signal as a function of at least one signal characterizing the exhaust-gas composition is provided; and, as a function of at least one operating parameter characterizing the operating state of the internal combustion engine, the control signal is predefined either by the at least one first or the at least one second controller or by a combination of a control signal generated by the at least one first controller and a control signal generated by the at

  • Publication number: 20060016119
Abstract: An article for maintaining the temperature of water housed in a bait tank. The article includes a first sheet or panel made of an insulating material configured for circumferentially enclosing the sides of the tank. Preferably, the panel is multi-layer and defines at least one opening for aligning with a port of the bait tank. Also preferably, the article includes a lid portion for insulating the top of the bait tank. Optionally, the panel can include at least one fishing rod holder for holding a fishing rod therein and at least one pocket for holding a cooling device such as a freezer pack.
